I just found some black and white process photos of Necrosha I never uploaded. This was before I applied the the leaf gold tattooing on her.

Limited Edition: 500 pcs
Dressed doll. All the clothes and accessories demonstrated on photo are included (orange short, blue denim tunic and slippers).
Ashley has a dream.
She wants to grow up and as quick as possible!
Being so mall is awfully boring. Everyday she is told: don't do this, don't do that, smile to your aunt, share candies with younger kids, don't cry for a new doll, take off your elbows from the table, leave the dog behind the door, wash your hands, clean your teeth+ Everyday the same stuff. And when she wonders: WHY? The reply is simple and short: You are too small to ask questions! "Tomorrow I'll grow up! From the early morning! And I will do whatever I want!" - she promises to herself.
Walls are Benjamin Moore 'Classic Gray' (Regal Select) in an eggshell finish, to match the dining room, but I had it darkened 25% to help the white trim pop a teensy bit. Trim is Benjamin Moore Advance in 'White', straight out of the can as the machine supposedly color matched it to Sherwin Williams 'Extra White' which is used on the trim in the other rooms. BM Advance really needs to dry overnight and be sanded in between each of three coats. But it's worth it for the lovely hardened finish. Ceilings are Zinsser Stainblock Ceiling Paint in flat bright white (straight out of the can).

This is my first, and so far only, Gene doll repaint. She's a Simply Gene Red head put on a straight-leg Gene body. I won her in a raffle and I have no idea what Gene doll the body originally belonged to. :^[
There's a lot of problems with the repaint--I really had no idea what I was doing and used cheap, cruddy craft paints that weren't thinned down (hence why her eyes are all blobby and uneven). I didn't remove all of her original paint either, just the eyeshadow. I went over her eyebrows and lips with my new paint, and covered over her eyes so they were looking forward (and be brown, instead of Gene's spooky blue). One eye came out bigger than the other, though, and the reflection shines aren't coming from the same direction. She looks craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. And get this! I didn't remove her eyelashes! I just trimmed them down and painted over the glued nubs that were left! Auuuuuuuuuuuugh what a mess. I want to remove all her paint and re-do this someday, with higher quality supplies--and I should do it soon, because the red paint on her lips is already beginning to leach into the plastic and stain. D^: It's a shame, because despite her faults, she really is lovely. I used Prismacolor colored pencils for her eyeshadow and blush, which was the smartest thing I did in the entire project. They've held up just fine, and haven't stained anything.
She's wearing a dress I knitted. I had named her Rachel, but since I have three friends and a cousin named Rachel, I'm not so keen on the name now. :^P (I am tremendously fickle and change the names of my toys whenever I feel like it.) I'm thinking of changing her name to Rowan.
A random snapshot of the large water tower that is on the right (south) side of Industrial Park Road that is getting repaired along with getting a new coat of protective paint. This water tower is located in the Industrial Park area of Brookhaven, Mississippi. (December 30, 2024)
The main reason and purpose of the coverings that are seen surrounding the legs of the tower are used to prevent the paint from accidentally being sprayed away from the tower and onto the truck/car traffic that passes by on Industrial Park Road.
We were heading east on Industrial Park Road as we were on our way home after spending my thirty-fifth (35th) birthday down in the small town of Magnolia.
I am surprised that the Mississippi Department of Transportation has not officially designated the major truck route that utilizes Union Street Extension from Interstate 55 to Industrial Park Road Northeast to Beltline Drive Northeast where it connects with Monticello Street Northeast (Highway 184) as a state-maintained highway. The route serves heavy box truck traffic from both the Walmart and McLane Southern Distribution Centers as well as a few other smaller industries in the area and that route connects the Industrial Park area with both Interstate 55 to the northwest and U.S. Highway 84 to the southeast.
The fenced-in areas along the roadway are owned by the same company called AITX, formerly American Railcar Industries... it is a railroad car repair facility and the two opposite properties are connected underneath the bridge that we are crossing.
