I decided to repaint Kocoum’s face since his eyebrow was rubbed off and I wasn’t a huge fan of his default eyes since they looked a bit too wall eyed.
I first painted his face to match his body then I decided to try painting him to look like a collector Ken doll with smaller eyes and a bit of a smoulder.
66085 fresh from its repaint is seen at Rearsby working the 4M79 0820 Felixstowe - East Midlands Gateway 27/2/21. (Taken using a pole)
Nature has many scenes to exhibit, and constantly draws a curtain over this part or that. She is constantly repainting the landscape and all surfaces, dressing up some scene for our entertainment. Henry David Thoreau (American author, poet, philosopher, 1817 - 1862).
I took this shot last January, but it is about what it looks like as of today in our backyard :-).

Thanks to a note from K-MAD saying a repaint was leading an empty grain train out of Superior I was able to get a shot of it at Boylston. Channeling my inner Enenbach, I incorporated some flora into this view as the 107-car train rolled south across County C.
Always loved the look of this fig and it always reminded me of crossbones so I decided to repaint him to look like CW Crossbones. Might redo the eyes but overall I like how it turned out

Looking back to this day in 2011, we'll see a freshly repainted BC Rail C44-9WL. Catch of the day! A repainted BC Rail C44-9WL was seen coming back from Humboldt Yard, as the WC headed to the Highline to get their BN cars. The paint on this unit looked so nice and fresh, yet for some reason, they forgot to repaint the trucks. It doesn't seem that this was that long ago!

CLP17 is on the MPC turntable during shunting to transfer the loco to Port Augusta to paint the loco into the Aurizon scheme on 12-8-25
June 2001, not knowing what to expect, I embarked upon the art of doll repainting. It's almost surreal to imagine that the journey of 20 years began with a single brush stroke. What an amazing road it's been.
I would like to share my latest repaint of Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'hara, as she was one of the very first celebrity repaints I did in 2001. Shown here is a repaint of Franklin Mint's 15 inch Scarlett O'hara doll.
I'd like to attempt to express my love and gratitude to you all. 20 years would not have been possible without your support.
