Just another photo of my repaint... I'm getting ready to list these guys on ebay and I'm a little nervous about it. I've never sold a repaint before XD
This is a lil old now, my first monster high repaint from last year. I made her a custom apoxie helmet :)

This is my first, and so far only, Gene doll repaint. She's a Simply Gene Red head put on a straight-leg Gene body. I won her in a raffle and I have no idea what Gene doll the body originally belonged to. :^[
There's a lot of problems with the repaint--I really had no idea what I was doing and used cheap, cruddy craft paints that weren't thinned down (hence why her eyes are all blobby and uneven). I didn't remove all of her original paint either, just the eyeshadow. I went over her eyebrows and lips with my new paint, and covered over her eyes so they were looking forward (and be brown, instead of Gene's spooky blue). One eye came out bigger than the other, though, and the reflection shines aren't coming from the same direction. She looks craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. And get this! I didn't remove her eyelashes! I just trimmed them down and painted over the glued nubs that were left! Auuuuuuuuuuuugh what a mess. I want to remove all her paint and re-do this someday, with higher quality supplies--and I should do it soon, because the red paint on her lips is already beginning to leach into the plastic and stain. D^: It's a shame, because despite her faults, she really is lovely. I used Prismacolor colored pencils for her eyeshadow and blush, which was the smartest thing I did in the entire project. They've held up just fine, and haven't stained anything.
She's wearing a dress I knitted. I had named her Rachel, but since I have three friends and a cousin named Rachel, I'm not so keen on the name now. :^P (I am tremendously fickle and change the names of my toys whenever I feel like it.) I'm thinking of changing her name to Rowan.
The thruster pieces are casted in clear resin 4 times, and I reshaped and glued them together in pairs to make them larger so as to accomodate the LED. I even had to sand down the bulb to a mere 3 mm thickness to fit in. However, it is still a tight squeeze.

This Draculaura repaint was a present for a friend: she is going to marry soon and my girlfriend and other friends thought about making this small present for her bachelorette party.

A baby on the way, a husband who's on the warpath to get things done before a trip abroad... time for a nap!
Repaint I did 18 months ago, thanks so much Alex for taking care of her like this, and taking such great photos :)

I felt like repainting today and to my surprise found a forgotten Tyler stored in her box in my fabrics cabinet. She has been repainted with acrylics and pastels and sealed with an UV spray.
So here is my werecat repaint of Meowlody who I removed the stripes from her body and styled the extra hair bit to sit better on her head. I mostly went for a red eyed look to match her glove but I’m kinda hoping to get the other werecat to steal for her glove.
I’m not a big fan of werecats since they’re not really a classic monster, but hey, cats are pretty cool.
