There has been a rumor among railfans that the Pee Dee RR Locomotives would be repainted in the owner Aberdeen and Rockfish rail colors. At least one unit has been spotted partially painted. This is the A&R scheme. Once painted, will necessitate an update trip down to see the Pee Dee locomotives in new paint.
Former Sunshine Line StreetLite 63199 returned to service this week following repaint into the new local Aberdeen livery. Seen here on layover at Hillhead on the 20 to Balnagask. Hillhead Campus has hosted a large number of Aberdeen COVID confirmed cases in the last six weeks, the Hillhead testing centre still had students coming in and out today.
She's one special doll for she was given by two of the best people on earth, Adrian and Mel for me to play with. I could never thank you enough sweeties! Now Kyra is vamped and ready to be dressed in couture...

While I️ heard an IC 1037 was leading a SB Train on the J, I️ raced over to West Chicago to start getting night shots again with the weather warming up. Little did I️ know that this was a repaint and had very little time to set up everything
Another E500 repaint, this time 38217 and notably the last bus in service to carry the Bridges brand now only survived by withdrawn 38223.
38217 changed over driver at Castle Street.
Empty CSX grain train, G284 is northbound at Montezuma, Georgia on the "new line" in October 2004. A former Conrail CW40-8 leads with it's YN2 dress still looking fresh although 7373 was an early repaint. (Slide Scan)
I've been binge painting for a few weeks. These girls are almost done! A bunch are mine, a few are for friends, a few are commissions, and the rest will go to Etsy next week.
I may have bought this set primarily for Maleficent, but I paid 10 quid in import duty for them both, so I was damned if I was leaving Sleeping Beauty herself to languish in a box...
It almost feels like 'too little, too late' with Mattel's Signature series. There are some great new head sculpts - but then they all have the same, stiff arms and (at least these two) completely unjointed legs! Monster/Ever After High and the Fashionista/Style series have shown us that Mattel can make some brilliant articulated bodies - I just don't understand why they wouldn't try and use some of that for these dolls - which are supposed to be some sort of premium range, after all.
As for the repaint - I went for a side-glance (because I usually do), and a sort of doe-eyed, Veronica Lake-esque face; she always strikes me as looking half asleep even when she isn't under the spell. I refrained from rooted lashes/gloss varnish this time because I wanted her to have the rather stylised, flat appearance of the movie art direction (which is genius, by the way).
Back to straight repaints for a couple for the McNair Pilkington fleet.
Usual strip down to bare metal with the Eclipse proving to be a particularly awkward model to dismantle, then brush finish using Cherry Paints and Craftmaster enamels.
I repainted Jane today... I feel like my relationship with the Miyu sculpt is very love/hate. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it... but it's always a struggle. I'm happy with the faceup, I like these eyebrows more and I think I finally have the right color over all for her, especially in the lips. However, I had one hell of a time trying to position her darn eyes and I have no idea why! >.<;
