My first POVRay render of an LDD model, via the magnificent "LDD to POVRay Converter". Other than the strange reversal of the coloration on the rear stud on the 2x2 'engine' brick on top of the rear tailfin, it came out pretty awesome.
And it only took 14 hours, 40 minutes *Hrk*
Sticking with the 'home town' fleet, here is the C36 4-6-0. This is probably my fourth attempt, and the best one by far.
I've been steadily working on my D57 model, but I'm seriously tempted to put that one on the backburner in favour of these 2.
The cannons proved to be effective against bombers but their slow rate of fire was a disadvantage against fast moving jet opponents.

This is the Engi Cruiser. It's the only ship in the game that by default have Drone Control Room. Perfect for drone warfare! Was granted by Engi to The Kestrel's Crew once they've reached Engi Homeworlds.

As promise, here is my second minifig render. Today, it's time for the SS Fallschirmjäger Bataillon 500 in jumping suit.
What do you think about this one ?
Another render of a previously shown MOC of mine - the Balrog from Lord of the Rings! The render is lit with red light in the typical "fantasy fire" scene, and relies on approximately 140 light sources to attempt to achieve the fire effect, with 120 on the "fire whip" alone. An LDD MOC rendered using LDD2Pov-Ray, this took almost 20 hours despite being set on the lowest quality setting, probably something to do with all the light sources in the chain I guess.
