From the very awesome Hannah Waldron (same Illustrator behind the book 'Rain Day'), she now has these screen printed cards!
8 different owl designs to choose from, screenprinted in 3 colours and using a pearlescent yellow ink and hand stamped with a letter template on the reverse, each mini letter comes with a mini hand stamped envelope.
Packaged in a gatefold cellophane envelope.

The Shadownlands Collection is based on science fiction stories by Dyan Bender.
The second character in the collection is Fyre, whose secret name is Ardala. She is the adopted daughter of a wealthy Healer and direct descendant of the last ruler of what is often called the Great City.
She is a Highborn, a race the developed from Human close intermarriage of the ruling families. Thru centuries of narrowed bloodlines a race of physically beautiful and mentally gifted people consolidated power. Marked physically by extremely pale pearlescent skin and blazing red hair with oddly metallic quality. Highborn are marked by a drive to acquire power and are gifted with something other races call Charisma.
Ardala is young, she has gained her full height but is still not filled out completely. She has been able to pass as a boy for years. Her eyes are blue, the warm blue of shallow seas, and bright with curiosity and good humor. Although wealthy now for many years she and her mother moved often and she has learned to easily adapt to new locations...she enjoys learning about new people, customs and cultures. She is gentle, and her gentle nature shows in her expression. She completely lacks the imperious and commanding nature that typically marks Highborn, but she is just starting to understand that she has personal power, she is starting to learn that she can command the attention of others.
She wears her silk finery, wide pants of teal silk that were left a bit short in the ankles in her last growth spurt; silk slippers encrusted with brass sequins; a silk chiffon vest draping over her young shoulders with fine brass chains; a bra heavily embellished with tiger eye gems, brass and gold, forming hawk motives that symbolize and foreshadow her soaring potential. Her hips, neck and intricately braided hair are adorned with gold chains.

Dolls in photo (from left to right):
-2006 Genie Magic Yasmin
-2003 Funk 'N' Glow Jade
-2005 Live in Concert Cloe
-2007 Star Singerz Cloe
My favorite pair of earrings from this collage is probably the one on Genie Magic Yasmin. They are just so classy, and totally capture her genie aesthetic. Since her outfit has aqua blue on it, I thought I'd try to match crystals to her shirt. I was lucky enough to have matching aqua crystals in different sizes, which I stacked from largest to smallest. Additionally, I placed gold beads between each of the crystals, to break up the color palette. Not to mention, gold compliments the genie theme and Yasmin's bindi (plus, the hardware on these earrings is also gold). It may be really hard to tell in this photo, but cupping around each of the largest crystals, at the base of the earrings, is a metal lotus flower. I got these lotus flower charms in a small baggie in the dollar section at Wal-Mart. They are made to cup around beads. I was completely enamored by them from the get go, and I was eager to use them on Miss Yasmin. They remind me so much of Princess Jasmine and the Aladdin movies!
Funk 'N' Glow Jade definitely deserved funky earrings. Her outfit has so many playful colors. But what I love the most about 2003 Funk 'N' Glow Jade has to be the peachy orange color of her makeup and clothing. I HAD to find beads that matched this same orange color. Fortunately for me, I had some unique peach glittery stars, as well as light orange crystals. I wanted Miss Jade's earrings to be extra large and pronounced, which is why I additionally incorporated bulky, silver cubes. These cubes match the metallic vibe of Jade's two outfits, and add an extra level of playfulness. I really adore how these earrings compliment Jade's best feature--her awesome makeup!
Live in Concert Cloe was a tricky gal to design earrings for. It's not that I didn't have ideas for her earrings, on the contrary I had too many ideas! I actually had several different designs planned, but the ones I ended up choosing were my favorite (not to mention the biggest...because why not). Cloe is currently missing most of her outfit, but I am lucky enough to have her cool original pants. I love how her pants are a light, teal blue color. But more than that, I adore her space themed aesthetic. So I wanted to merge the two together--that way when I did eventually find her original shirt and shoes, these handmade earrings would still suit her. Obviously, I chose pale blue/teal beads that matched the color of her pants fairly well. I liked their pearlescent tone, which fits the hue of the pants nicely. Then I chose metal beads which to me look like flying saucers. Maybe it's a stretch to some people, but in the context of Cloe, they totally seem like space ships to me! And then I spotted the oversized checkered beads in my bead kit. I knew I absolutely HAD to incorporate these into Cloe's pair of earrings somehow. First off, the metallic silver color on them fit the space them. And secondly, they are checkered, just like Cloe's bizarre, yet awesome lips. To top off her pair, I added a few small accent black beads, to pick up on the black on her outfit and on the checkered charms.
For Star Singerz Cloe, I wanted to keep things a little more toned down. Since her hair whooshes back nicely, it means that whatever earrings she wears will be very visible. This meant that smaller, less bulky earrings would still be very apparent on display. I wanted to stick with a silver, black, and pink theme, to coordinate with Cloe's original ensemble. That's why I chose silver pipe beads, pink crystals, and decorative black balls. My favorite part about these earrings are the black, decorative balls. The design on them really compliments Cloe's outfit, and makes these simple earrings stand out that much more!
Magnificent little pin toppers for my DQS9 partner. Aren't they adorable? My sis (the older one) made these for me to give. She looked at my quilt and then recreated the house and birds in miniature! The pearlescent finish on the toppers doesn't pick up too well in the photos, but they're gorgeous. (So talented. Glad I'm related and can work out trades.) To give an idea of the tiny nature of these--the pincushion is around 4 inches and those are regular glass head pins measuring 1.5 inches long.
Cant claim to be in two places at once, this one is by the wife, under my instructions and camera, I hasten to add. Vibrant colours, think she's done a fantastic job.

This time, all I did was rework the roof using the SC windscreen; and I added curved slopes w/cutout over the taillights. More pics coming soon... (a large collage of the Cerbera in each virtual Lego color can be found in this brickshelf gallery)
—Note: The rear windscreen piece will need to be hacked irl for this to work (you can kinda see where the two windscreens overlap right before the rear mudguards)
I heard that at the time of the Cerbera, TVR would paint your car to order; I'd personally love to own a pearlescent-purple Cerbera.
What color would you order? If you comment one from the gallery, I'll render it for you!

Ok you guys… Go to your nearest Marshalls and TJ Maxx right this minute! The Barbie Look City Shopper dolls are sold for $16.99 over there or better yet go to Tuesday Morning. They have the dolls in stock for $14.99 and the fashion packs for $9.99. This is actually the first time I’ve seen them in person. Walmart and the Target near me don’t seem to carry them. I went to Marshalls first and they have 4 Brunette Mackies, 4 Blonde Laras and 1 Blonde Steffie. I’ve never seen AA Mbili in stores ever so I got her online instead. I’m quite happy to see them in stores so that I could inspect and choose the dolls, being the anal retentive that I am. I’ve been meaning to get these dolls, but I guess the over pricing of the dolls in stores kinda put me off. The dolls and accessories are sold $5 more from the regular retail price at Target which makes them steep for what’s supposed to be an affordable line. As a predecessor to Barbie Basics, The Barbie Look is something that I’ve been looking forward to. The African-American City Shopper with the Mbili face sculpt from the Spring Collection is identical to Barbie Basics 2.0 Model No. 8 with the cropped hair. What makes her face screening different is that the paint app appears to be crisper and her lipstick has a pearlescent finish. Her styling is very L.A. which coordinates with the fashion pack from Barbie Basics 2.0 Look No. 2 with the camel colored sweater. You might have noticed Bill Greening loooves sweaters and sweater dresses! But what I like about The Barbie Look is that the fabrics used for the dresses stayed true to the prototype unlike with Basics where they used a different, probably inferior material when they produced the camel colored sweater. Though I love blonde City Shopper with the Steffie face sculpt from the Spring Collection, I just thought she wasn’t as cute as her Basics 2.0 counterpart. I have to have that Missoni inspired halter dress though! Now the Fall Collection is significantly of better quality compared to Spring. They finally got rid of the sewn-on strips which do nothing but damage the hair. They now use strings to secure the hair. This time the heads of the dolls are squishy which could probably mean they no longer glue the inside of the heads, and the rooted lashes are actually executed better and they curl up so we can see the eyes better. Blonde City Shopper with the Lara sculpt is probably my favorite. Unlike the other three dolls who pulls face screening from their Basics 2.0 versions, Blonde Lara pulls face screening from Basics 1.0 Model No. 2. I think she was styled really well. I love that she’s pale and I love the print of her dress and her stockings. The only thing I would change is her boots which is the go-to shoe mold for Mattel whenever the doll is wearing stockings. They really need to mix things up and come up with new accessory molds. Brunette City Shopper with the Mackie face sculpt shares the same face screening as Basics 2.0 Model No. 1 only this time she has brown eyes instead of blue. The one thing I liked about the prototype was that the hemline of her dress came down to the knees which I thought was chic, but the dress was shortened in production. Although she’s not up to par with the other dolls, I think she has a potential to look edgy with a short hair and with better styling. What I like about The Barbie Look is that finally Barbies with the ModelMuse and Pivotal/Articulated bodies now have more fashions to wear which was something that was ironically lacking after the On Location series ended. Barbie being a fashion model but doesn’t have any clothes to wear sounds ironic to me. The fashion packs from the series are reminiscent of the vintage fashions produced from the late 50s and early 60s which the theme of the line is inspired from. Each fashion packs includes new accessories which some I’ve never seen before, including the golf set from Pink On The Green, the tea set from Tea Party and a the Pool Side includes a fruit platter, a fan, and a pair of glasses first used for the BFMC Palm Beach Collection. I think I’ve got almost everything that I wanted from this line including the Winter Weekend ski set on the way. I just need the TBL Wardrobe next. I’m excited for next year’s Collection as Bill G mentioned the dolls will be more glamorous. Hopefully we’ll see more darker skintones, fierce faces and tasteful fashions.
The Elissa is an elegantly styled corset which does not feature a front busk closure, giving a lovely smooth shape when worn as underwear. Slimming and sexy, it is traditionally made with authentic spiral steel boning and is finished in luxury duchess satin swirl in rich pearlescent ivory or classic white. It works equally well as a stunning top to your wedding gown or as sexy lingerie on your special day.
The Turbo Titan III looked like nothing that anyone had ever seen. The futuristic cab incorporated a massive, panoramic windshield, while two gaping nacelles on each side of the cab helped feed air into the turbine engine. Adding to the futuristic look were gullwing-style windows, pop-out headlamps and turn signals, and a plush interior, sans a steering “wheel.” As strange as it looks, instead of a conventional wheel, the driver steered the Titan III with one of two large dials mounted in front of him.
The Turbo Titan’s chassis was rather conventional, except for its powertrain. GM employed their new-at-the-time GT-309 turbine engine, and connected it to a six-speed Allison automatic transmission. While GM touted the engine produced 280 horsepower, its true selling point was the unbelievable low-end, freight-moving torque. When the engine’s output shaft approached stall speed, (the point at which a turbine engine produces the most torque), it could produce as much as 875 lb-ft of torque.
Although engineers actually drove the truck from coast to coast several times, the truck itself was little more than a promotional vehicle. Ultimately, it was scrapped when GM no longer felt that turbine power was feasible. At one time, they promised to offer a gas turbine engine in a few commercial vehicles between 1971 and 1973, but the turbine’s propensity to gulp fuel and rising oil prices, forced GM to scrap the idea altogether.
The Turbo Titan III utilized a fiberglass and steel combination for cab construction, and was painted in a Pearlescent White. The styling theme extended to cover the chassis, which was completely concealed by molded-fiberglass panels. There were doors mounted on both sides of the truck, just ahead of the rear wheels that allowed access to dual batteries and the turbine engine when the cab was electrically tilted. The headlight pods mounted on each side of the truck were retractable, and were mounted within functional air intakes.
Inside, space-age seats with full headrests were mounted on each side of a center console, and a production-line sourced automatic shifter handle was mounted in the console. Long trips can be boring without some music, so a four-speaker FM radio and a two-way telephone was installed.
I have to say Evening Blossom Dominique is definitely unexpected, and that’s what I love about Integrity Toys. They do something like this and it blows my mind! I would have never really thought of Dominique with short hair and in a bright red color. Her hair is in the same style as the One-of-a-kind Femme Rouge Erin from last year’s Gloss Convention. Without a doubt her inspiration was Rihanna during the ‘Loud’ era circa 2010. The lace jumpsuit is very risqué and very ballsy only a few people can get away wearing. I really love the nude lips but I‘m not crazy about the face design especially the eyes. As a Dominique fan, I can say that this is not her best face screening. I need that umph and I need that intensity in her eyes. I’m still infatuated with last year’s Tantalizing Dominique who I thought was the best version of Dominque in my opinion. She had a lot of attitude with her side glancing eyes. The FR2 face style was perfect for her that I wouldn’t mind them using that again. In fact, if they can combine Impossibly Beautiful’s eyebrows, Tantalizing’s eyes and Evening Blossom’s pearlescent nude lips, I think she will be a hit. Underneath the lace jumpsuit is a bra top and panties. The bra is the same as Sensuous Affair Giselle’s but this time the fit is off. It’s a little bit bigger which is weird. You would think that they would be exactly the same size since they were made from the same pattern. Maybe it’s just mine. Her skin tone is lighter than I previously assumed. Lighter than Tantalizing and all her FR2 versions, so this is a first for her. Speaking of skin tones… The color of her head is not a perfect match to her body. You don’t really see it with the naked eye but depending on the light you will see that the head and body have different color temperatures. It's more noticeable in pictures as well. This seems to be an ongoing issue with darker skin tones like Light Honey in the past year and some dolls with the Japan skin tone just recently that I really would love if Integrity Toys would do some light test and change the formula of the plastic and the vinyl. I’m not really asking for perfection as that’s impossible, but at least make the colors match to the point that the differences are not noticeable. I somehow don’t have that kind of issue with Barbie so my expectations are higher for Integrity Toys since the dolls are supposed to be high-end and in the $130 range. Kudos to the quality issues that decreased this year in comparison to last year, but the skin tone mismatch issue is something they still need to look into.

Here she is! My 6th Disney store custom doll! And isn't she pretty? She took alot of time, alot of beads, and 4 different dresses! But I'm happy to say, she's finally done! I made everything on her. She was originally a 2013 Disney store Pocahontas doll. I took off her original outfit, and original paint. I repainted her face, and highlighted it with gold. I also have her real eyelashes, and made them angled. Her outfit is beaded with white, and gold glass beads. It's also jeweled with real crystals. Her outfit is made of a very fine suede, and lined with dark tan silk. Her leaves are made of a silk organza, hand glittered by me. Her necklace is made with glass beads, and one real crystal. She also has white pearlescent crystal earrings, and glass bead anklet. Her stand was made also by me, and has molded features. Such as a fish, and rock, and water! The stand is also lined on the bottom with black leather. She was a total labor of love!lol but honestly, I'm glad to be done. As its the last doll that I need for my doll portfolio. New pictures are coming soon for all of my ooak dolls. Especially outside pictures with her! As Elsa sent a snow storm, and she and i would've froze.lol
i do not know the origin of this ,
it is about 10x7 cm, the material is pearlescent and looks like horn or could be a type of man made material and is also curved in shape ,a real mystery!,the scene look 16th or 17th century
One of 5 KMB vehicles to wear this unusual pearlescent-based allover green livery, promoting the vehicle's environmentally friendly credentials (as they were at the time), Dennis Trident / Alexander ATS96, seen here at the Ho Man Tin terminus of Cross-Harbour Route 109 in November 2003, ran for a number of years in this guise before receiving standard livery. Whilst a number of this batch of Tridents have had their service lives extended by a further year, this particular example was withdrawn in September 2019 after completing the regulation 18 year stint.

Here's one you don't see often. The super rare Yaou (General branded) 6G-360. This is the second transistor radio released by the Yaou Electric Company in 1957.
Very impressive indeed. It's a hefty "coat pocket" set and features some incredible design features starting with the bold, chrome speaker grille. (It was difficult to photograph as grille is very mirror-like) - the General name is hard to miss underneath. On the right side of the cabinet is the very simple cream coloured dial area. I really like the inset, powder blue pearlescent/abalone tuning dial with the under painted silver pointer and trim.....classy.
General followed this model with a redesigned (more modern/sleaker looking) 6G-704 - also very rare.
The cabinet measure approx 15 cm (6 inches) wide, 8.5 cm (3.3 inches) high and 4.5 cm (1.7 inches) deep.

The last of my Spring pre-orders have arrived and the first one is Fine Print Elise. For 2015 the theme for Fashion Royalty is inspired by the early 60s. I can say that this is where Integrity Toys’ comfort zone is. Fashion Royalty is known for vintage flair and glamour of that period. Along with the theme they have new face designs for each of the dolls. It’s stylized in a way that their reminiscent to the paint styles of vintage dolls from the mid-century era. You see this is where the risk that they took got tricky because for me this somehow affected the sales of the collection. The dolls don’t stand a chance from other versions from past collections and from the 2016 Cinematic Convention collection. They just don’t compare. There’s nothing edgy about these dolls. They’re stripped off of that. Obviously this isn’t my favorite collection in terms of face design. I realize how hard it is to redesign faces because it's like reinventing the wheel over and over again and that's why we see a lot of rehashed screenings lately. But the new face styles in this collection are kind of a step back. They just feel odd to me. They're more appropriate for Monogram or Victoire Roux.
I do have to say that the Madame look that they gave Elise fits her character. The hairstyle works for her. In fact I love it. I really hope they use this hairstyle for her again on a version with toned down make-up and a better face design. Also the color palette is like a flashback to Vivid Impact Agnes. That doll is dreckitude! That’s all I’m gonna say. Fine Print does come with good fashion pieces though. The coat feels luxurious. The printed pencil dress seems like a good addition to the wardrobe even though I’m tired of seeing the same neckline. The shoes are basic. Very similar to Style Notes Isha. In fact I think they’re just the same as well as the earrings, but with the addition of the bracelet and the magnetic brooch. The must-have piece though is the Hermès inspired hand bag. It has a pearlescent finish. It’s well-made. It has an open closure. I hate to be a Debby Downer but I feel this version of Elise/Elyse will go down as one of the worst versions of her. For 2016 I want Integrity to push for more chic, edgy, modern and less matronly looks for Fashion Royalty. I’m not saying that they should be as edgy as the Nu.Face girls but think of the way Victoria Beckham, Karolina Kurkova and even Naomi Campbell wear dresses by David Koma, Antonio Berardi and Azzedine Alaïa. Age appropriate, classy but very fashion forward. Let's give that Madame look a rest for a change. They can have several seats for now.

The world's first, commercially released transistor radio. Released Oct. 18, 1954.
Designed by the team of David Painter, James Teague and Victor Petertil.
Initially available in four colours: ivory (bone white), cloud grey, mandarin red and black. These were followed by the rare swirled jade green and mahogany cabinets.
Almost impossible to find now are the highly sought after pearlescent variants which were available as: lavender, meridian blue, shell pink and pearl white. Some say there was also a lime colour although details on that are sketchy.
I was fortunate to stumble upon the pearl white example locally earlier this year. It's almost in mint condition.

Her one chance to shine before that sliver of light strayed out of her reach.. Look at the pearlescent gleam of the light on her perfect petals.. Glorious!
