Well the wait is finally over. A Touch of Frost Eugenia, the last W Club doll of 2013, is finally here after months and months of waiting. I want to do a breakdown of this review by presentation, workmanship/quality, styling & fashion.
Presentation - Eugenia came in a revised version of the box used from The Premiere Convention collection. It is made of a matte finish with a glossy border and with the new Fashion Royalty logo in gold at the center. I would like for them to go back to the glossy box used from convention & the white boxes Integrity uses before as I do not like the matte black box because the scratches & imperfections are more visible with this type of cardboard. I do like the fact that they changed the flimsy paper sleeve for the accessory compartment from the convention to a sturdier cardboard. While the box liner from the convention was gold it was done different this time to go with the doll’s color palette. I’m wondering if the color of the liner changes for every collection, we’ll have to see. I noticed that starting from The Premiere Collection they no longer have the paper that covers the doll which I don’t really think is a big deal. I don’t think it affects the presentation of the doll.
Workmanship/ Quality - This is the first time I received a doll from Integrity that came with messy hair in the box. Luckily with a few brush strokes, she looks fine. It is not typical for Integrity to produce a doll that I feel seems rushed. Her hand-applied lashes are by far the worst I’ve seen. Each lash is pointing in a different direction. The hairline on my Eugenia is definitely crooked that I want to take her hair down and cover it up so no one would see it. Fortunately her face screening is really good. That is one major reason I’m considering on keeping the doll. Another flaw, though really not a big deal to me, are tiny cracks on her left knee. They’re vertical white marks which are tiny enough I wouldn’t call them crevices. They’re really not noticeable. Hopefully Integrity will get it together next time as I do not want to see this again for future dolls. I feel like with an edition size of 1,130 that the production of this doll may have been rushed a little bit. But once again, there was a delay in production so what do I know.
Styling - The fact that Integrity made an effort to give us a Eugenia with the “Venus” look is unfathomable. It’s just something that I thought is not possible. At least not this early since Venus was just released in 2010. I do appreciate IT for listening to fans. Even if I wished she had the bleached eyebrow look like the elusive Venus Eugenia, this version is not in any way less gorgeous. The raven hair, the pale skintone with a neutral make-up palette is to-die-for. There’s something about her skin that makes her glow. Perhaps the pearlescent finish on her make-up has something to do with it. When it comes to Eugenia I’m particular about her eyebrows. I like her with thick eyebrows like Fine Jewel but when I compared her eyebrows to my other Eugenias, it really wasn’t much of a big deal. I like the way they’re arched anyways. I guess change is good. When we think of “Frost” we think of ice, winter, with colors of blue or white, but no. They gave Eugenia rose gold and a nude color palette. It is surely unexpected which what makes Integrity Toys so great. When it comes to design, this is why they have an edge over other toy companies because they go beyond what is the norm and what is expected, and I love them for that. Now her hair bump looks really high in pictures but It's really not that bad in person. I'm still debating if I want to take her hair down. I might have to in the future.
Fashion - Eugenia comes with a, yet again, to-die-for accessories in rose gold toned jewelry. I mean the cocktail ring that she has is enough to make me go bonkers. Her heels and a matching faux croc clutch are some of the best pieces I’ve seen this year. Now everyone was talking about her dress. The texture and the embroidery are visually stunning… but it stops there. The ruffles and the asymmetrical hemline ruined it. The dress reminded me of a Marchesa cocktail dress, but if the skirt was designed differently like how they did it with Red Zinger Dania’s or Renegade Dasha’s with layers of shredded fabric or tulle, the dress would have been amazeballs! In this version of Eugenia, she is set to entertain the entire Perrin family in her new Parisian penthouse to celebrate the Holiday season. To go with the back story of the doll, I really wished she came as a giftset. She could have had a set of lingerie as part of her “Getting Ready look”. I also wished that her top was a separate piece from the skirt. Then she would come with two or maybe three different skirt styles. One short skirt with layers of tulle, a sheer floor length skirt and one below-the-knee pencil skirt. I would have loved that and I would have paid for that whatever the cost.
From my dock, the pearlescent light of the moon drowned out most of the stars in its vicinity and lite up a flock of clouds that was passing by while shining on the water like diamonds. That's how I can best describe this scene that I painted from a memory at the lake this last weekend. It was really enchanting.
Congratulations Majesticduckieling who was the winner of my free face-up giveaway! I hope you enjoy your girl! It was fun working on her!
My LE Wedding Cinderella Doll has been fully deboxed. She is sitting down on the floor with her skirt spread around her in a full circle. Cinderella's skirt has a train, but it is bunched up so is prevented from showing its full extent behind her. She looks as though she is growing out of a decorated crepe.
On my second attempt to get the the Limited Edition Wedding Cinderella 17'' Doll from eBay, I finally got her! I got her with the help of a fellow collector. She is #450 of 500, and was originally sold by the Japan Disney Store. There is a Japanese sticker on the bottom of the box. She was shipped double boxed, and very well packed. She arrived in perfect condition.
She is very beautiful, and has a serene expression, rather than the grumpy pout of the LE Ballgown Cinderella doll. Her lips have a slight smile, which is part of why she has a more pleasant expression than the other doll, who shares the same face mold. She is glancing in the opposite direction of the Ballgown Cinderella, and her skin has a matte surface, rather than the shiny pearly surface of the Ballgown doll. Her pale yellow wedding gown has many differently sized and colored rhinestones enhancing the printed floral pattern. There are also several small jeweled plastic butterflies in the skirt, hidden amongst the flowers. The decorations continue throughout the back of the dress. There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.
I will be posting a full set of detailed photos of this doll. She will be shown boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed, both by herself and with other Disney Store dolls.

Design composed of a symbols set harmonized to each other that blend together for a very personal creation of great visual impact.
In a game of overlap born the unusual idea with an evocative aesthetic from the world of slot machines, roulettes, poker chips and dices of the American casinos green tables.
In this composition stand out, as well as the unmistakable symbol of the ace of spades, playing cards with their rich decorations printed on the back.
Harley-Davidson Softail tank airbrushed and painted with special techniques.
Full of overlapping transparent glazes, metallic and pearlescent colors that blend together with each other.

The Lincoln Futura made its official public debut on January 8, 1955, at the Chicago Auto Show, after being shown to the press earlier that week. Beyond auto shows, the Futura had a significant impact on pop culture. It was modified by Hollywood customizer George Barris into the Batmobile for the 1966 TV series “Batman.” The car was also featured in the 1959 movie “It Started with a Kiss,” starring Debbie Reynolds and Glenn Ford.
The Lincoln Futura was designed by Ford’s lead stylists, Bill Schmidt and John Najjar, and was hand-built by Ghia in Turin, Italy. It boasted a 300-horsepower V-8 engine, push-button transmission controls, and a distinctive double-dome canopy roof. Its body style was a 2-door coupe with a front engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. Its original pearlescent finish was created using ground fish scales to achieve a shimmering effect.
The styling elements of the Futura, such as its headlights and tailfins, influenced the design of production Lincolns in the following years, and its concave front grille inspired the grille on the 1960 Mercury Monterey and the 1960 Ford Galaxie. [Sources: Wikipedia and Bing Copilot]
I really really love Addie Loo's eyelids. Aren't they lovely? And it looks like she finally realized that rainbow thing was NOT a UFO! ;)
The thread on challenge ideas got me thinking of Black and White! Thanks girls!!!
This is another attempt at the 'use background stamps in a unique way' challenge!
Hero Arts Stamps:
S5037 Design Block Tree: Heat embossed with white ep on Black cs, then stamped with black stazon onto white cs. Then, distressed the white piece with Ranger ink, and layered the two...
S1832 Poetry Background: Stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Ice blue onto Black cs; and onto a white butterfly chipboard piece. Glued the chipboard to the cs and cut out the image.
Other supplies:
MM epoxy 'friends' tag.
Bird tag, flower brad, ribbon, and Heidi Swap circle all from a RAK.
twine, button... unknown.
Thanks for looking!!
Logo: Modern logo on the studs.
Material: ABS
Inner ribs: none
Inner tubes: With cross supports
Inner walls: Thin with vertical ridges
Flowrib / center line inside top surface : No.
Mold pip: on the stud.
This photo of a brick with pearl-effect shows a circle around the stud. There is no height difference, this effect seems to be caused by the flow of the material with pearlescent-addition during moulding.
Mold numbers: None. The brick has the letters "CoC" inside.
Our best guess is that CoC stands for Certificate of Conformity.
In order to be legally allowed to sell products, the product has to meet the applicable safety standards. When all standards are met, and the manufacturer can provide proof that they are, the manufacturer can issue a Certificate of Conformity. For this process, tests can be required. It seems like these bricks were made to be used in such tests.
The following parts with TEST on top and CoC inside are
known:
• brick 2x4
• brick 1x2
• plate 2x4.
It seems likely that all are made in one mold.

Intellectual property protection: (C) LEGO
Remarkable features:
• TEST on top of the brick.
• CoC inside the brick.
Colors known:
Milky white, pearl colours, glitter colours.
UNANSWERED QUESTIONS
• What were these bricks made for exactly?
• Were these bricks specifically used to demonstrate conformance to safety standards of bricks with the additions causing the pearlescent and glitter effects?
They both have the flats, and the plastic has a pearlescent cast to it. It's quite lovely. I will say, as much as I hate the DS heels, I actually like them on the Stepsisters as they are supposed to be tacky and gauche.
*Petticoat isn't included.
This guy is the whole reason I bought the Larger Disney's little kingdom Frozen set. He is not articulated, but hes awesome! He has a pearlescent shine to him that's supposed to mimic snow! To Cool!

PERSONAL FUN FACT: This Barbie had me stumped...well sort of. When I first saw her distinctive short bob, she immediately reminded me of Riviera Barbie. However, she was dressed to the nines in a silver getup that looked SO convincing. I believed firmly that she was wearing her original attire, therefore she could not have been a Riviera Barbie. I broke the number one rule of doll identification...don't be blinded by what they are wearing. Anyways, after more in depth observation, I realized she had little rhinestones stuck to her ears, and her shoes were glued on to the stockings she sported. I decided to compare her to Riviera Barbie...clearly this doll had deceived me. I was just as excited to learn she was Riviera, since I had her dress for YEARS. I got my first as a kid, and a nicer one later on. Anyways, I knew it would be fun to make earrings for, due to the daisy print. This gal was part of the "Mountains of Monsters Lot," which I was given in March of 2023. Someone very kindly sent my sister and me two HUGE boxes of 166 dollies, ranging from a variety of makes and eras. I especially am fond of this Barbie. I always adored Barbies with super short hair, like my childhood Pilot doll!
One thing there is plenty of in French Polynesia is pearl jewelery. I think it runs there entire economy. There are planes, trucks, cars, taxi's and billboards advertising Tahitian Pearls. This was a necklace from a local jewler in Moorea.
Please take a moment to view it on black (press L). Thanks.
Here she is! My 6th Disney store custom doll! And isn't she pretty? She took alot of time, alot of beads, and 4 different dresses! But I'm happy to say, she's finally done! I made everything on her. She was originally a 2013 Disney store Pocahontas doll. I took off her original outfit, and original paint. I repainted her face, and highlighted it with gold. I also have her real eyelashes, and made them angled. Her outfit is beaded with white, and gold glass beads. It's also jeweled with real crystals. Her outfit is made of a very fine suede, and lined with dark tan silk. Her leaves are made of a silk organza, hand glittered by me. Her necklace is made with glass beads, and one real crystal. She also has white pearlescent crystal earrings, and glass bead anklet. Her stand was made also by me, and has molded features. Such as a fish, and rock, and water! The stand is also lined on the bottom with black leather. She was a total labor of love!lol but honestly, I'm glad to be done. As its the last doll that I need for my doll portfolio. New pictures are coming soon for all of my ooak dolls. Especially outside pictures with her! As Elsa sent a snow storm, and she and i would've froze.lol
Printing the business cards I designed for Nice Brew Interior Design.

This photo is not good.
Oh well.
It's really windy outside. But really sunny. I'm wearing a tee shirt and it feels really, really good. It's been a while since I've been outside. Well if you don't count last night. We were throwing poppers on my friend's patio and watching them spark.
Oh yeah, it's 2012 isn't it? Congratulations, everyone. We made it through another year. I know it was tough, but we did a pretty good job.
I'm really excited for this year. I don't know why, but something about this fresh slate is making me feel rejuvenated. It's a nice feeling. Maybe it's because I'm starting high school in August. Maybe it's the summer. I miss summer. I don't care about snow this year. I don't want any.
Stop what you're doing for a second. Close your eyes.
No, not now, wait til you're done reading, geez. >.<
Take off your shoes and socks. Now plant your feet on the ground. Imagine you're standing in a bed of sand, surrounded by a pearlescent, refreshing body of water. Breathe in. Now breathe out. Think of summer. Now open your eyes.
Don't worry, lovelies. Only a few more months. I'm making a bucket list of things to do this year, and also a list of confessions I need to throw away.
Bucket List:
1) Go to a rock concert
2) Dye hair two colours at the same time
Confessions:
1) I often have thoughts of self harm and have often gone through with it.
2) I compare myself to models and hate my body sometimes.
Well right now I'm jamming out to Mindless Self Indulgence. For a techno-rockish punk band, they're really good. :) I got red streaks in my hair on Thursday and I don't want to go back to school on Tuesday. But I miss my friends so. . . so long and goodnight.
Thank you.

Samson was an old sailor. He used to sing shianties to us kids,
and if we asked him nicely, show us his fantastic tattoos.
Samson lived in a small cabin in the forest.
To me as a child, his tiny, cozy livingroom was like a treasure chest.
All kinds of amazing things from all over the world. Crystal balls with small
shells and dolphins inside, shrines covered with colored stones, colorful pictures from exotic places, stunning pearlescent lamps...
Together with his fabolous stories...it was like a true fairytale.
A great man Samson was, who now is long dead and gone.
A few weeks ago, I went by his cabin. The door was smashed, and every window was broken.
I went inside to find everything smashed to pieces and scattered all over the place.
The only thing I could find that was still in one piece, was a metal wash bowl.
I took it with me and went home.
The Shadownlands Collection is based on science fiction stories by Dyan Bender.
The second character in the collection is Fyre, whose secret name is Ardala. She is the adopted daughter of a wealthy Healer and direct descendant of the last ruler of what is often called the Great City.
She is a Highborn, a race the developed from Human close intermarriage of the ruling families. Thru centuries of narrowed bloodlines a race of physically beautiful and mentally gifted people consolidated power. Marked physically by extremely pale pearlescent skin and blazing red hair with oddly metallic quality. Highborn are marked by a drive to acquire power and are gifted with something other races call Charisma.
Ardala is young, she has gained her full height but is still not filled out completely. She has been able to pass as a boy for years. Her eyes are blue, the warm blue of shallow seas, and bright with curiosity and good humor. Although wealthy now for many years she and her mother moved often and she has learned to easily adapt to new locations...she enjoys learning about new people, customs and cultures. She is gentle, and her gentle nature shows in her expression. She completely lacks the imperious and commanding nature that typically marks Highborn, but she is just starting to understand that she has personal power, she is starting to learn that she can command the attention of others.
She wears her silk finery, wide pants of teal silk that were left a bit short in the ankles in her last growth spurt; silk slippers encrusted with brass sequins; a silk chiffon vest draping over her young shoulders with fine brass chains; a bra heavily embellished with tiger eye gems, brass and gold, forming hawk motives that symbolize and foreshadow her soaring potential. Her hips, neck and intricately braided hair are adorned with gold chains.
The doll is a Andro Inamorata Nnaji in Milk skintone.
This is a commissioned bespoken OOAK doll and not for sale.
Written by my sister:
I love how glittery the bodices are, though it's odd that the glitter doesn't extend below the waist. Of course, as the doll has two skirts to wear over the molded bodice, I suppose that makes sense. (Though, whether the foam skirts count as clothing is iffy.) I like how the fabric skirts look like flower petals. The foam skirts remind me of petals too. I love the colors they chose for the swimsuits and how they compliment the dolls and how they all look together. Pink is really Avery's color. Because she is blonde with such pale features, the bright pink does a lot for her. In contrast, I love the pearlescent white against Bria's dark skin and hair. The sparkly blue looks amazing with Lexa's long locks and purple and green are lovely colors for Monet and Sophina. I also love how the necklines of the bodices look. I find it so lovely and detailed that there are several different molds among the bodices. They aren't all uniform, but they are similar. I adore the catfish and dogfish sold with these dolls! I think it was a cute and creative touch--one of a kind pets! I like the catfish even more than the dogfish for some reason. I think the sculpt of the cat is really sweet--or maybe it's just because I'm a cat person. I noticed, however, that Sophina's dogfish has these really great spots and that Bria's cat is beautifully painted. They are all adorable, but those two pets stand out. This line is so fun and whimsical. I enjoy a lot of bath dolls--from bath themed 90s Barbies to Disney princesses from this time frame--but these are, by far, my favorite bath dolls. They have a certain magic nobody else can beat!
The Granary is a life-sized sculpture of a traditional English grain store. Still in use in countryside locations such as the artist’s hometown in Faversham, Kent, granaries are an archetypal structure of agrarian and pastoral life. Towering at an unusual height, The Granary is finished in pearlescent candy orange, chosen to represent the desire to return to an idyllic, rose-tinted past.
Despite its indulgence to this fantasy, The Granary is also a beaten, forced and frustrated product. It reflects a brutal reality of material hardship, discord, class division and racism, as well as the fear and uncertainty of what we have lost or stand to lose from crises affecting rural life today. The Granary speaks as much to a need to overcome these crises as it does to the vexed rhetoric that underpins established visions of the nation, its heritage and our place within it.

Here's one you don't see often. The super rare Yaou (General branded) 6G-360. This is the second transistor radio released by the Yaou Electric Company in 1957.
Very impressive indeed. It's a hefty "coat pocket" set and features some incredible design features starting with the bold, chrome speaker grille. (It was difficult to photograph as grille is very mirror-like) - the General name is hard to miss underneath. On the right side of the cabinet is the very simple cream coloured dial area. I really like the inset, powder blue pearlescent/abalone tuning dial with the under painted silver pointer and trim.....classy.
General followed this model with a redesigned (more modern/sleaker looking) 6G-704 - also very rare.
The cabinet measure approx 15 cm (6 inches) wide, 8.5 cm (3.3 inches) high and 4.5 cm (1.7 inches) deep.
Meet Ocean, my favorite Barbie horse of all time...or should I say my unicorn. Up until the fall of 2016, she was my only Starlight Unicorn in my collection. Then I found Siren, Ocean's doppelganger, at my local flea market (since she is not repainted, she is now the horse featured for my guide photos). Anyways, Ocean has been repainted--back in 2011, my dad spray painted her white with silver flecks. These horses are prone to discolor yellow...and by yellow, I mean a deep, burnt looking yellow orange...yucky! At first, I attributed Ocean's discoloration to years of play, and the fact that I kept her on my desk/nightstand for years next to my alarm clock, which also discolored (probably from UV rays). But Siren is also a bit yellow on one side--not as severely though. Her eye paint isn't as nice as Ocean's though, while everything else is in better shape. Anyways, when I first got back into collecting dolls in 2011, it broke my heart seeing how Ocean had aged. She was a birthday gift from my Auntie Kim and Uncle Ray (my mom's best friends) in 2002 I believe. That was my last birthday with Mom, and that was also not long after I got my beloved 2001 Sparkling Jasmine doll (who was my favorite doll growing up). I still remember being sprawled out on Auntie Kim's living room carpet, and peeling back the wrapping paper on my gift, to see the magnificent Ocean. I named her Ocean because I've always loved the sea and all the life in it. Anyways, collecting Barbie horses was something I had always done, since I was a really little girl and I got my first Barbie. But I didn't have a unicorn, or for that matter any horse that even compared to Ocean's ethereal beauty. She has the most amazing purple hair, with gorgeous tinsel...that I spent hours brushing. I loved setting her up in my Feeding Fun Stable, and making Jasmine come outside and sing Britney Spears songs while Ocean flew around (she could fly despite not having wings). Dad knew how much I loved this horse, and when he saw how broken my heart was by Ocean's decrepit condition, he told me he'd fix her. So he had me tape off her hair, her silver details, and her eyes. He then delicately spray painted her white. To give her that slight pearlescent sheen she once had, he spritzed silver spray paint over that. She actually has even cooler details than she did when I was a kid! Dad's silver details make her really pop...plus she's not a nasty yellow color anymore. I later touched up her silver muzzle and hoof details, and around her eyes, where I had taped her up. I'm not one to customize stuff ordinarily, as I learned the hard way that it is not for me. But I'm actually really glad that Ocean yellowed with age, because now when I look at her I think of my dad. The year he fixed Ocean up was the last one he was alive. I fondly remember those first few months I got back into doll collecting, and the two of us always put our heads together for projects. Whether we were plotting to restore Ocean, to add more doll shelves to my room, or whether Dad and I were working on stand prototypes for my dolls, we were always together. Just thinking about that night with Ocean gets me tearing up every time. If I could only keep one Barbie horse, I wouldn't have to think about it....it would be Ocean all day, every day. She's an irreplaceable part of my childhood, but also of my early days of collecting dolls again as an adult. And in a way, my resurgence back into doll collecting is even more special and defining to me than my childhood was. Whenever I look at Ocean, I feel the love that Dad put into her, to make her beautiful again, and that is a feeling that nothing else can quite match.
My guitar, for a new version of my minifig :) Based on a BrickForge acoustic guitar, painted and decaled. The tiny Gibson logo and truss rod cover were pretty hard to get into place and are transparent over pearlescent paint.
For scale reference, a US quarter is about the same size as a UK 10p piece.
In real life Margherita is much more of a yellowish pearlescent gold than orange. Also, I hate that the red paint from the other page got onto this.
Excited to spin for Cate with these other fine selectors next Saturday! See you in dreams. . . . >:)

This event was inspired by a dream...
The soft hum of dream pop gently fades in, as if the sound itself is pulling her from the shadows of sleep. She opens her eyes to a world bathed in sunset—the sky is a hazy lavender and reddish orange, with stars flickering softly like forgotten memories. The air feels thick, like velvet, and everything around her glows with a surreal, pearlescent light.
This is The Transcendent Realm—the dream world she has created to escape the harshness of life. In the distance, a tall man approaches, his figure gleaming like a beacon. His outfit is almost otherworldly, sleek and futuristic, all in white. His face, translucent and glowing, radiates warmth, but his eyes are deep, almost unknowable.
The dreamstream hums with the sound of ethereal shoegazing as he moves closer, as if the music is an extension of the dream itself. "Welcome," he says, his voice a mix of soothing tones, like notes drifting through fog. He extends a hand, and she takes it without hesitation. His touch feels light, almost weightless, but it grounds her in this dream world in a way she can't explain. They walk together, and he leads her through the Transcendent Realm, where the impossible feels ordinary.
Juniper trees with beautiful leaves sway in rhythm to the surreal electronica soundtrack that surrounds them, their colors look painted. The sky above seems to stretch endlessly, as if the horizon has no end. It's beautiful, and yet, there’s an underlying familiarity in it. She pauses as they pass a small grove of trees, and a wave of curiosity washes over her. The man notices her hesitation. "What is it?" he asks, his glowing face turning toward hers."This place..." she murmurs. "It reminds me of my childhood. I used to be so curious about everything around me." In her mind, fleeting images of her younger self exploring the woods near her home flash by—innocent, unburdened by the weight of reality. He smiles gently, but his gaze remains enigmatic. "Curiosity has a way of bringing us back to ourselves."
They continue walking, the music around them evolving—soft, dreamlike, and tinged with melancholy, as though the notes are holding memories she’s forgotten. But then, without warning, the peaceful soundtrack is shattered by a sudden, blinding flash of light. Lightning, crackling with raw energy, strikes a massive stone structure in the distance.
The sound reverberates through the air, sharp and overwhelming. Her heart pounds in her chest as she stares at the smoldering rock, the force of it so vivid it feels real. Too real. Before she can process it, the world begins to blur, the dream dissolving around her like smoke in the wind. She gasps, sitting up abruptly in her bed, her pulse racing. The Transcendent Realm is gone.
Days pass, and she can’t shake the image of the man, his glowing face, his enigmatic smile. He seemed so real, more than just a figment of her imagination. Who was he? Was he a stranger from her waking world or a part of her own subconscious that had taken form in the dream? She finds herself longing to return to the Transcendent Realm, to the beauty of the place, and to the mystery of the man who showed her a world beyond the ordinary.
Every night, she lies awake, hoping that sleep will take her back there. Back to him. But each time, she wakes up to reality. The music of the dream lingers in her mind, haunting her, pulling her back toward a world she can’t quite reach. She knows one thing for certain—whatever the Transcendent Realm is, it’s not just a dream. It’s a part of her now, forever etched in the space between dreams and reality.
See you soon, where we can all escape and dream for a while.
XOXO

The Comet itself was a model produced by Mercury from 1960 to 1977, and it went through various iterations, starting as a compact car and later becoming a mid-size car. The Escapade was customized by George Barris, who completed the customization in just six weeks. The Comet was shortened by sixteen inches and featured custom sheet metal, sequential turn signals, a white leather interior, and pearlescent blue paint. [Source: Wikipedia]
back to basics 05: experiment
photo paper exposed while wrapped in plastic bags with random photo chemicals, 1989
This is a photograph made without a camera. It used to have a LOT more colour in it--pinks and violets, even some metallic-like pearlescent areas, but being essentially incorrectly developed and never properly fixed, it has shifted and dulled over time.
