The Perfect Patch Missouri City, Texas--Missouri City’s potholes will soon meet their patch. Thanks to the Duramax Diesel pothole patcher, that jarring feeling you have when your car hits a pothole could soon be a thing of the past. The new machine, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will be rolling into town to aid City staff in maintaining and extending the life of the roadways. City Council approved the purchase of the $181,579 machine at its October 19 meeting. The new truck will be financed through street bond funds and the purchase process will take about two months. Once here, the machine will be dispatched two to three days a week to make repairs on major streets, with a priority for older neighborhoods. The Texas Department of Transportation will continue to have responsibility for state roads in Missouri City: 90A, Texas Parkway, Murphy Road, Highway 6 and Cartwright Road between Texas Parkway and Murphy Road.With its extending mechanical arm and spray injection technology, the trendsetter will save Missouri City time and money as it fixes pesky potholes and cracks in the road. And, it’s a speed demon, too. Instead of taking two or three people a few hours, a single operator can repair a pothole or a crack in fewer than 30 minutes. The effective and efficient patcher can be maneuvered by the worker inside the truck’s cab to clean a trouble spot, apply a tack coat, spray a special mixture into the pothole with sufficient force to compact the material and apply a drying agent to seal the deal. “We have seen the high performance of this equipment for the City of Houston. Missouri City is always looking for ways to improve the efficiency of delivery of services to our citizens and this is an important step in that direction,” said Public Works Director Scott Elmer.Though the City is not experiencing a major pothole problem on City streets, officials are being proactive in making sure existing ones are effectively and efficiently repaired.

I found the un-find-able Patch today!!! I saw him a couple of weeks ago, and didn't get him. it wasn't until recently when I found out how hard he is to come by. So today I went to Target not looking for any Lala's and found Patch, and snatched him up. I also got Crumbs cause she was on my list. My collection is almost complete all I need are the twins.
