I spotted these summer beauties, not by just their colour but also by their heavenly scent.

My cabbage patch kid as a child was called Hilda Natasha, and my sister's was called Barbara Alexandra! Lol childhood memories😁☺️
Selective focus on one bud on my Winter Gladioli which are providing much needed colour in the garden at the moment.
Spare a thought for Queensland again facing major flooding for the 3rd time this year. And at such a late stage in the year!
I'll be off for a couple of days so will hopefully be able to comment & respond to comments next week.
The past few years I've been wanting to capture a pumpkin patch, but I always seem to be too late in the season. This time I got it! :) The one down the road--actually in Orting--was already gone, with NOTHING left!--but this one in McMillin is still in good shape, as you can see! They must've planted just a little later.
I just love the vibrant orange of the pumpkins...and I like the barns and the past-peak trees in the background. Hope you enjoy as well!

It is that time of year and the pumpkin patches are busy with families getting out to enjoy our lovely fall weather. I had to get out early yesterday to get a couple of shots before the crowds descended. Maan Farm Market, Abbotsford, B.C.
Having completed a brief stop after cresting the summit at Sand Patch, Pennsylvania, four second-generation geeps get a westbound pig train moving.
After shooting sunrise a walk back up the hill to the car to be greeted with some patchy warm might across the landscape, The sky was a nice colour but I wanted to take in those wide warm patches. Only one thing for it a panorama to take in that wide vista. In the distance you can see a lone tree on a hill and that is where I recently shot a sunset from is Cissbury ring.ring .
Both boxcars seen here are patched for Conrail. The white one is former LV while the other is obviously former NYC (thus former Penn Central).
These are cars I weathered and patched and I'm running them on a friend's railroad for his first-ever open house.
A dear friend from North Wind Stables, Pat Johnson recently acquired this beautiful pup Patches. Pat wasn't riding at the Children's Classic Horse Show so I thought I'd follow Patches around a bit and see what I could get. This shot seemed to work out well. BTW: For folks scared of high ISO settings (you know who you are) this was at 6400.
