Filled in some big gaps before taping. Mud is still wet (grey).

Flight of the Concords patches I made! Their faces are freezer-paper screen printed onto scrap fabric, and then sewed onto felt scraps that I had patched together. The back has a pin. FOTC FOREVER!

The Pumpkin Patch is located on Sauvie's Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, OR. From Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge, circle to the left and loop back under the bridge, following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2 miles until you see our signs.

 

Market and U-pick: 9 AM - 6 PM, June through October.

Pumpkin Cottage Giftshop: 10am - 6pm.

Patio Cafe: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am - 6pm.

The Maize: September-October.

This photo of Patch was shot through a patio door while patch was waiting to come in. The background snow was too reflective so I used a filter and some digital handcoloring to tone the background down.

Went to the new Waimanalo Pumpkin Patch last Saturday and even though its not as big a production as the Aloun Farms one Nikki and I agreed that we prefered the more "Down to Earth" feel of the whole place.
