Today was an uneventful day. I went to the library where I continued some research for university. Discussed the Kony Campaign with my friends and hanged out with my friend Emma Daffern for a while.
I then returned to the flat, where I gave the first two episodes of Spacecat to Joe, which he will upload to YouTube tomorrow, talked to Naomi for awhile on the phone and now enjoying my pasta Meatball with James McKeown as he plays a level 11 Imperial on Skyrim.

we finished the day out with a couple hours at ikea. I can recommend that at 6pm on a Friday it is delightfully empty. There's not much better than eating Ikea meatballs and watching planes take off and land.
This was so very delicious. The key idea behind preparing meatballs is that you cook them in the sauce itself. Unfortunately, I learned a lesson in not heating spaghetti sauce on "High" as I singed the bottom of the pan. It took quite some time to get the black char off the bottom of the saucepan but thankfully the sauce itself was not ruined.
This was made for the 52 Weeks of Baking swap on Swap-Bot. It's a recipe that I modified from being a dairy one to a non-dairy one.
Oh yeah, they are not meatballs yet.
I still have to make them.

That is fennel in the grinder. Fennel seeds.
Fennel seeds are magic. I don't really like fresh fennel!
Freshly ground fennel seeds are one of the secret ingredients of my lasagna.
I make the best lasagna in the world.
I know that is a pretty bold statement.
