Meatballs with half spaghetti & half ravioli. Blech! Overcooked, jelly-like, processed noodles; tasteless, runny sauce. Paste-like meatballs (must've been frozen). I must've been *really* hungry that night because I downed over half the plate.

The Optical Landing System (OLS), aka the Meatball, setup along Runway 32L at NAS Lemoore.

Spaghetti squash tossed with olive oil, salt & pepper, with parmesean, fresh basil and meatballs (I always just use the recipe in the Amy Sedaris book for these). I wanted a very "fall" dinner to go with the commencement of Katie's Autumnal Film Festival (ha!).

Once they start to brown CAREFULLY turn them. This will be the point where you will either be making meatballs or meat sauce. (If they start to fall apart too much, put on some pasta then, break up the meatballs, add tomato sauce--voila meat sauce and pasta).

First sandwich of 2024.

I think. It was delicious. The flavors of the Chinese food here are much more diverse. I didn't see any General Tso's chicken or anything else using the two sauces they serve at every Chinese restaurant in the town I live in.

Meatball subs always make me think of Jordan, who always orders them at Subway. They taste really good made at home, too, with homemade turkey meatballs, fresh bread, and lots of gooey cheese. Hey, Jordan--come over and I will make you meatball subs and homemade cookies & cream ice-cream! ;)

as delicious as this was, i wish we had ordered ALL the sandwiches

Hello Sherrie,

Thank you so much for sharing Meatball's celebrity status, My daughters loved seeing his pictures and comments! You are very welcome to come to our home to visit Meatball, Teddy and our happy gang of HOKAFI cats. The kids are back to school soon and I am a homemaker, so anytime mid September would be great.

We are truly grateful to you for taking such compassionate care of the cats in HOKAFI Special Needs Room 2. As you know, our 3 most recent adoptions came from there: Meatball, Milo and Teddy. Attached are a few pictures. My daughter, Melanie, is the inspiration for all our adoptions and she just adores having them as her "friends".

Meatball is adjusting very well to a home and the perks of receiving lots of attention. He has been the perfect litter box user. (He has two under-the-bed boxes at opposite sides of the room which he seems truly happy to use as they accommodate his large size well.) His purr motor is always running and loves just to sit on your lap or right beside you. His adventurous side is also present as he loves to go up and down the steps and chase balls.

We are grateful every single day that Teddy (20 yrs young) is still on this earth. His will to live is amazing and he thrives on constant attention and doting.

Milo (14 years young) was only in Special Needs room 2 for less than 1 year, but, I bet you will remember him. He is just the easiest, laid back friendly cat.

Look forward to meeting you.

Best regards,

Teresa
