Home made Costanza Meatballs

These are homemade veggie burgers - "meatball burgers." They're from a recipe in the Sep./Oct. issue of VegNews magazine. They are made with Gimme Lean ground beef style meat and seasonings. They are really good! They're topped with tomato and a little avocado, ketchup and vegenaise.

Whether you are looking for a quick healthy meal or feel too tired to make something extravagant for dinner, these little tasty treats will do the trick! All you need are mini meatballs, Boston lettuce, shredded carrots, green onions, sesame seeds and of course your favorite teriyaki sauce. Once prepared, eat out of your hands as you would a taco. Enjoy!

Close-up of meatball monster pizza (meatballs, pepperoni, bacon, onion, barbecue sauce and cheese) from Dominos. We order it with mushrooms (can they slice them any $*#% thinner?!). This was really delicious - chewy classic crust base with crispy edges, lots of toppings (especially meatballs!) and really saucy.

with buffalo chilli, and a cheese log. The meatballs were pretty basic I think (breadcrumbs, egg), the chili came from deglazing the pan with rye and adding some spices.

The cheese log is from the boy's cheese class at Brush Creek Dairy. He made it himself earlier that day and it was delicious! Coated in sage and lavender.

Packaged frozen meatballs (still tasty) were used. Tomato sauce from a jar.

Homemade meatballs with pork, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, and red pepper. A simple tomato sauce. Fresh zoodles.
