This was a tough assignment. When I was a child our Uncle lived with us and he would give me and my siblings a dime every day. I would save it up and at the end of the week we could bring money to school with a passbook and they would deposit our money into a bank account. They would enter the amount in the passbook. Perhaps this is why I am pretty good at saving!
I tried to capture the brillance of the almost full moon. It gives the picture almost a ream like quality

Self Portrait
I am often feeling overwhelmed and anxious about life. Where am I going and does it matter? So here is to a new year of trying to let go of some of that and come to peace with where I am now. I want to make this earth and these familiar places my home during these next few years, which I am sure will be filled with many different bedrooms.
This is snapped at a park (with help from my boyfriend) near my house, in a lake I have swam in my entire life. Yet this was the first time I have stepped in it from the other side.
"I Belong Here" will hopefully be a series of photos in places new and old that bring me peace and joy.

Hi my friends. I am back after a short brake. As usual, I went to visit my family in Valencia. There are 3 places in Valencia that you can not miss if you want to take cool pictures: the train station, La Albufera, and the Ciutat de les Arts.

This is dedicated to galevine2, for the great testimonial she wrote. A local FLICKR friend and her ability to capture the local cultural is truly the best (she just posted some stunning Native American Pow Wow shots). So this is the last native Poppy I was able to get in this very short season of ours.
This little kid was playing peek-a-boo with me around a column in a Yangon temple, but I managed to catch him in a moment of reflection.

I'm back. Hi.
Lately I have been dealing with some very negative and damaging feelings that I have been harboring about myself. It's not only hurting me, but those around me as well. I am happy- I just can't let go of all these negative thoughts. There are people who love me very very much, but until I can be happy with who I am and how I look, I'll never truly believe all the wonderful things they say. I'm sick of feeling too fragile. I have realized that I have to start changing the way I feel about myself and that I have treat myself with kindness.
I woke up this morning and just really felt the need to take a self portrait. It has been at least 3 months since I've taken one, and at least 5 months since I've been taking them consistently. I woke up and remembered how every time I had a problem, I'd turn it into a photograph. So i did.
This photo is my first step in what will probably be a long process to feel beautiful and to be happy with who I Am. I'll get there.

SHIPtember 2017.
Well, I figured that since I already have so much shit to do in addition to another obnoxious SHIP lurking in the corner (don't be jealous, Hecate), I figured I'd add to the mayhem and stress properly. Mild coronaries are normal, right?
Not my first SHIP, but it is my first foray into SHIPtember. One month to NOT blow your brains out? I'm in!

So I have been out of town for a few weeks and I got back home this morning...and ....looks like Jack Frost paid me a visit! :P We have about 5 inches of snow outside omg!
And this has happened to me before...but there was this little cold Isul bear outside...looking so cold and homeless..well so of course I decide to adopt him and took him inside with me! XD These little Isul bears are notorious for doing this to me and play on my weaknesses for them <3 haha lol of course I can never resist!!!
Hehe but anyway, Glen is such a cute little bear isn't he ? I hope he will forgive me for being out there in the freezing cold!

I know I have done this before, but it is tuesday afternoon and that is my weekly designated time to be a photographer. It is raining hard, real hard, so all my plans are ruined. I pull my car into a secluded parking lot of a restaurant that has gone out of business. I notice a few other cars and trees, lots of wonderful trees. I figure "what the hell' and get my camera out cursing myself for still not having a decent macro lens. I click away for a few minutes at my windshield so as to not waste my tuesday afternoon entirely. As I finish, I look around, the other three cars that were there are gone. I never even noticed them leave. Hmmm? Maybe they were all having lunch hour affairs? Could a goofy guy with a camera have been mistaken for a Private Investigator highered by a suspicious spouse? I giggled to myself, my tuesday wasn't totally wasted after all.
