I've taken my silhouette oudoors to get some sun and keep it from fading. I aslo wanted to see if I could do a silo someplace else besides my dressing room.

I'm feeling more and more drawn to nature. I find myself stopping on walks just to take in the details of leaves, tree barks, soft flower petals.

My heart knows this is where I am supposed to be. So I spend my days dreaming of living in a little wooden house surrounded by forests, fields and quietude. I am sure one day I will.

I love photographing the large animals ... elk, bison, bear, moose, etc., but there is also something very special about catching a little critter in a beautiful spot! I just loved the colors that displayed in this photo. He was atop lichen covered rocks with scrub oak in the background.

i've had this image in my head for the past week, but this morning i watched brooke shaden's weekly promotion passion video and was inspired to take it today! she's starting a project called "I AM ME" where she challenged her viewers to take a self-portrait as a form of self-acceptance and to fill in the blank "i am ____". in this case, i filled it in with "chaotic". i've always been one to over-analyze every aspect of my life, which of course, has it's downfalls. this year is my junior year of highschool, which comes with the realization that there is a life after you turn 18. so many things need to fall into place perfectly to get into your college of choice: good SAT scores, scholarships, and a impressive GPA. on top of this, you try to find a way to keep time for yourself as well as spending time maintaining friendships, which in the end, is an almost impossible balance. my over-active brain is completely overwhelmed at the moment, and that is what inspired this image: the constant swirl of thoughts about my present schoolwork and my future goals. i don't usually photograph my feelings, but this so accurately portrays how i feel. i know it'll get better and that everything will fall into place eventually, but photographing my frustrations helps clear my head just that little bit so that i can breathe.

I found this little fella hunting the shore. I followed it to a tree. I felt sorry as it was shaking and really ragged looking. I took a quick few shots and left it alone.

Day and night, photographers flock to "The Bean" to capture this chrome sculpture's great reflections of Chicago and themselves.

I'm wondering about that reflection in her little mirror. Nevertheless, this young lady was having a wonderful time listening to music and looking at herself throughout her bus ride.

I get such joy from this little chap who struts around the garden. He often has a good squawk and flap of the wings, which makes me feel he's relaxed and feels safe with us. This is a bit of a rapid fire shot and it was quite dark so iso 4000 and a bit of wing blur!

The Royal Albert Bridge, also known as Brunel's bridge, that spans the river Tamar between Devon and Cornwall. It was Designed and built by the famous Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1859. It carries the main rail line between Cornwall and London. You can see the viaduct part curving left into Saltash railway station on the Cornish side.

when i lived in california i used to go to the lake 3 to 4 times a week in the early morning hours with 4 lbs of peanuts. i loved spending my mornings with these guys, they're so friendly and social.
