Please, have a look on it Large On Black

After a long fight (!!!), I have been able to post this pic only via mail (I didn't know this option, but .. it has been very useful!)

I don't know what is happened, and I'm guessing if anyone here has had the same problems posting with mac - I have a very new one (and this, btw, is my first "mac" work&post!) - I called the assistance and they said to me that the latest versions of the mac system can give uploading problems ...

May be some help and or tips?

(I'm using iMac, with Snow Leopard 10.6)

Ok, now relax :-)

in my comment, you can see the original pic - just my umbrella after a raining day.

I wish you a beautiful evening!

oh!, I was forgetting a very important thanks! to Barbara, who today has been so kind and patient with me - trying to help me in my ... fight!, so, b, this is for you! :-)

I was out looking for owls the other evening and was talking to another photographer about barn owls and I mentioned I hadn't seen one at that location. This bird must of heard as not long after I'd said it it appeared from nowhere. It then hunted for ages occasionally coming close

On the outskirts of Illaryian, for countless thousands of centuries, there has stood a towering statue of a giant stone tiger. Perched atop the tall and elegant Royal Arabesque Mansion, this tiger’s claws scratch the very sky. More than one traveler has come to cringe beneath the looming giant in the dark and gloomy night, at least half convinced that it was some gigantic immortal tiger hound, coming to steal their souls. But not the pair of travelers that stood upon the Tiger of Illaryian this night...

This is my second entry to the Wonders of Historica challenge over on Eurobricks, and it is a part of a Collaboration between a lot of us GoH builders! Check out their sections too.

About the build, it was so tricky to poise the tiger like this (there are no props apart from the photo to hold it up), and the fine details of the building were super tough to do without gaps. Hope you like it!

Bonus points to anyone who can guess which real city inspired the architecture of the building...

Thought I would try a little sneaky street photography while out in Stockholm. Was hidden behind a pillar but as I popped out for this I got spotted! Taken under a bridge in Ralambshovsparken.

Your happiness.

I will treasure every memories I have with you.

but...I still miss you.

quelli che ti rubano il cuore.

I headed out to the Lakeshore this morning and made stops in St. Joseph (where this is taken) and South Haven.

St. Joe's definitely had the better waves ... but it was an absolute bear to work here. You had to snap photos in the minute or two between snow squalls (where visibility would drop to zero and you'd be pelted by ice pellets driven by 40mph winds).

I was not willing to wake up to shoot so i committed that one from home.

I love purple coneflowers so much, my husband went out and bought some to plant in our garden earlier this summer. They are so pretty...and I enjoy photographing them as well. Hope you enjoy!

Please say hi to everyone's favorite tree! I hope he behaves and doesn't run off with the bomb!

In anticipation for today's release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (at least in Denmark) I sat down yesterday evening and had great fun bringing this little fellow to life. While listening to Awesome Mix Vol. 2, obviously.

He is fully posable and I'm especially fond of the eye technique that works so well for his big round eyes.

He's adorable, isn't he? I think I'll keep him!

Hope you like him!

This shot was intended to be a "formal portrait" of a passion flower. To my surprize when I downloaded this pic...there was a little creature sharing the spotlight!! Can you find him?

These little critters love everything I put out for them including bananas. here is eating peanuts.

I was at this party and had this awful itchy feeling in my nose all night . So fast forward a few hours , I am waiting for my uber and decide now is the time to pick my nose . Just as my index finger raise to do the deed , the freakin' uber arrives and flashes his lights at me . #letmepickmynose

Well somehow I managed to escape working today. My 1st day out of a mail truck since April 25th if anyone is keeping score lol! I'll be posting three late running SNS's to make up for my lack of appearances on here. Hopefully later this evening I can find time to to post a shot or two of mine. My break will be short lived but I'm making the best of it! Here we have BN 4363 at Vancouver in March 1978. Photo by Greg Stadter, Chuck Schwesinger collection.

i'm tired of my life..

i'm fed up with ur lies and am tired of my tries to put the things back together..

each one of us has one's own path of life and unfortunately they r not meant to cross once again..

therefore i don't find any other solution than to die..don't worry i won't suffer and i won't feel pain, coz i already got used to suffering and my heart is alreay broken..my death will be quick and won't torture me..and after that they gonna write a book about me....

inspired by: "Anna Karenina",book by Leo Tolstoy, where the main hero throws herself under the train because of miserable love...

I Alone by Live

It's easier not to be wise and measure these things by your brains

I sank into Eden with you

Alone in the church by and by

I'll read to you here, save your eyes

You'll need them, your boat is at sea

Your anchor is up, you've been swept away

And the greatest of teachers won't hesitate to leave you there, by yourself, chained to fate....

Happy Monday everyone!!! :)

i was walking through the park this morning on the way to finish off some christmas shopping when i spotted this flock of pigeons. i imagined that the three on the right were egging the brown one to skid to the bottom of this little hill just like us humans on our sledges!

hope your christmas preparations are going smoothly and you're all winding down nicely for the holidays.

As I was editing this winter photo in the middle of summer I was thinking that I loved winter anyway. Is it just the idea of winter that I love, or the real thing? ( as with other loves in our lives...:) It does bring back great memories of winter time fun as a child. I even went through a phase in grade school where I would pretend I was Daniel Boone as I carried my BB gun and followed tracks in the snow. So the idea of winter can be loads of fun although the cold makes my fingers hurt now and my hikes in freezing weather are shorter. Until next winter and some quality time with the real thing, I will continue to wonder. Thank you for your kind visits my friends!

Good morning, sun.

On a recent trip to Germany, I spent a lot of time hiking/walking in the and around the towns we were visiting. This day we were with friends at Mehling Heide near Kaiserslautern.

I dare you to kiss me

I dare you to hug me

I dare you to enter my soul

I dare you to watch me

I dare you to crave my touch.

I dare you to hold my hand

I dare you to love me

Yesterday I checked out a new location where I spent the morning looking for Wood Ducks. It was my first time at that spot so mostly reconnaissance to scope out the site. I was excited to hear their distinctive “oo-eek” calls immediately when I arrived at the marsh so set up my makeshift blind. I had a couple of beautiful drakes come somewhat close, but this young drake came extremely close. In fact, he came too close. In this frame he is using his side vision to get a better look at something suspicious on the shore, me in my blind. And in the next frame he is flying off to another section of the pond. Wood ducks are extremely wary. Therefore, I keep my camera on silent mode and use my 500mm lens with a 2x teleconverter to get the best looks while attempting to remain concealed and discreet. It is still not 100% effective. October 18, 2017
