I woke up for the sunrise today. It was so peaceful and quiet.

On a recent trip to Germany, I spent a lot of time hiking/walking in the and around the towns we were visiting. This day we were with friends at Mehling Heide near Kaiserslautern.

I was feeling particularly tired yesterday and decided to do something that brings me peace and joy. So off I went with my camera in hand, leaving my hundreds of photos still in RAW format, waiting for the day's shoot to join them. The earth was dry, the spring flowers gone, the weeds all dying back. Nothing gorgeous to shoot, until I saw this little flirt, flashing her fans at me in the mild breeze. It took a while, she was dancing with such joy in the wind, I could only watch ...mesmerized. She finally ended her swaying, and displayed her best side for me to catch with one click.

I wanted to make an old custom truck car hauler based on 1948 COE, my model isn't a replica of any particular truck, I searched some and then I make this one based on several different trucks I saw.
it's 9wide'sh and can fit any Speed Champions 8 wild car.
the cabin was a huge challenge, to many angles in such a small space, yes it is fragile, but it wasn't built to be played.
This is my last "car" I will close shop for a while and focus on other projects.
I would like to give a special thanks to The Lego Car Blog and The Brothers Brick who feature some of my models (like the Rat Rod on this truck) It was a great Ego boost to keep challenging myself to be a better Lego builder.

Yesterday I checked out a new location where I spent the morning looking for Wood Ducks. It was my first time at that spot so mostly reconnaissance to scope out the site. I was excited to hear their distinctive “oo-eek” calls immediately when I arrived at the marsh so set up my makeshift blind. I had a couple of beautiful drakes come somewhat close, but this young drake came extremely close. In fact, he came too close. In this frame he is using his side vision to get a better look at something suspicious on the shore, me in my blind. And in the next frame he is flying off to another section of the pond. Wood ducks are extremely wary. Therefore, I keep my camera on silent mode and use my 500mm lens with a 2x teleconverter to get the best looks while attempting to remain concealed and discreet. It is still not 100% effective. October 18, 2017
Hey all, I must apologize the for lack of flickr-ing from my side. College work n'all keeping me busy these days, but I will make the time to do my bit. This is a photo from last summer! Oh how I want the sun back! Quite bad focus on the flower here, but this was one of my first attempts to capture a flying insect!

This is taken down on Whitstable beach at low tide.
I was out having a nice sunny day walk with my Family with the camera in hand.
I was taken pictures of my boys throwing stones into the water and noticed this young lad with his net. No clouds was in sight and the windmills stood out really well, I did had to walk into the water abit with my trainers on to get my shot but that's normal for me.
Your surroundings may be boring but stop and look beyond and you will see that special shot.

Something different. No bokeh today (sometimes I've got to do it). I had to stand in this spot for a while to get the path with no people on (there are some people in the distance though), but every time I tried to get a shot, someone would walk/cycle/skateboard into my shot. Now, if I trying for bokeh people, that would be fine, but instead, I probably looked like I was lost or something just standing there. :)
Happy Thursday! The weekend is in sight! I've looking forward to some quality time with my camera. I haven't picked it up for several weeks, and with the days getting really short, it's hard to find time or the light to get anything worth it. I always seem to be using the same lens recently, which is fine, but I do think I need to take some other lenses out for a spin this weekend. Maybe The Beast (macro lens)... or I might try and see if the garden birds co-operate with my big zoom lenses. We'll see... :)
I am so excited for my last year of high school and the people I am going to get to spend it with. I've thought of starting a blog to document.

I woke up, at 5 am this day, got on my super fancy bike and went to this location - after 15 minutes of cycling like a pro! It was cold, but i got hot from the pedaling so its fine, i had no choice but to go inside the fountain, to get the best of this reflection and here it is i present it to you
Its a blend of 3 shots, at f11, iso 64 and the shutter speed doesnt matter... :P I made most of the changes in lightroom, and in photoshop i just blended the images, did apply an orton effect (My favorite) and than i put some steroids to the image in Color efex pro and viveza this time ( long time no use this app), topaz denoize and here it is the final image
