I always try to pay attention to the profile of a ship, helicopter, etc. and not only from the side but also the front and top profiles.
I can feel this sweet breeze for many hours and I will feel happy all this time.

Felt so good to be out with my camera again today.

A good run of bad luck. First...I broke my camera. I kept my Flickr fix satisfied with pics from my archives until I came home from work and my computer had gone south. Irrepairable. It was old anyways, But I lost close to 9000 pictures. Like my son's bands first show, Allies transfer from jr high to high school....Some pretty good stuff. Well, now i have a new computer and a new camera and some thumb drives on which to back up my pics.... First day with new camera.....264 pictures.....:)

Bethel Park Pennsylvania, about a mile from where I was born.
Retired in 2001 from service, I probably rode on this 500 times as I lived along the line in two different homes growing up.
The building in the background was the first grade school built around 1905. I wasn't around then!
I took a little survey on my FB page to get my friends to help me name this. I chose this title from many that were offered up to me. I also liked "Only the Confident Need Apply" and "Can't Contain This". Having your friends help you name your art is a great way to get them to engage with you!

Un amore di ferro che offre un ampio ventaglio di interpretazioni. In qualunque modo la si voglia interpretare, l’opera esprime sempre e comunque un amore che, fosse anche un po’ arrugginito col tempo, rimane solido essendo di ferro.

I dislike being treated differently because I am a woman. When men get together to talk shop or participate in a common interest, it is always on a peer to peer basis. My gender is quite often outnumbered in my areas of interest. When I get an invitation or even make a new acquaintance I always have to ask why. Am I a pretty face? Do I have a nice figure? Am I photogenic? Perhaps I am just cute or amusing? Or am I a peer with skills of my own? There was a period of time when I lost interest in talking to or shooting with mostly male photographers. I am not a model. I have my own vision. I am just as much a photographer as most of them dammit. And yes, even when it is inconvenient, I am also a woman.
