Yeah, so here he is... Now I feel bad because I've said so many times that I don't like Gale and it seems it wasn't a good idea. This one came to me yesterday and I was so frustrated when I saw his lips! They're not painted well, maybe you can't see it on the photo, but I hate that. I wanted to get a new one, but the shop don't agree to do that. Besides, the costs of all of that would be riddicoulus so I accepted the fact that he's not perfect. Anyway, now when I have him he looks nice to me, I don't say I like him;), but he's a good looking rebel. And Katniss pays really too much attention to him, it starting to be dangerous...

Mi hija mayor estudia Bellas Artes y en Audiovisuales debía realizar algunas fotografías con contraluces, así que me dio la alegría de pedirme ayuda dándole algunas ideas. Kristin Oudmayer is writing a book about harassment these days. I'm participating in a workshop this Saturday 25. July where we will try to capture the emotions harassed people go through.
I went to the location of the workshop tonight and did some test shot. Kristin has provided us all with some sentences to help us get going. This is my attempt at "I stopped trying".

This is my first trip in the field with my new Canon Speedlite 580EX II and the ST-E2 Speedlite transmitter. It was very funny to finally be able to play withoff camera flash :))

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is a blue day at Color my World daily and we celebrate angels at Looking close on Friday. I must admit: I was torn between many, many concepts for this theme. At first, I wanted to show you the angelic side of Mr. Egg. He is an angel, for sure (he has wings and a halo to prove it !) ! But then, I my Mom gave me a tiny collection (I have 3 of them !) porcelain angels with gold wings… So I decided to go with both: Mr. Egg trying to learn to fly like an angel and an actual angel supervising the flying lesson for Mr. Egg. Who knew that angels were so cool to photograph ! I hope you will like it !

Hello Flickr - it has been a very long time since I was last on here, simply due to life being very busy! In that time I have finished my Masters degree, graduated, got married and been on honeymoon.
But now I'm hoping I'll have enough time to upload some of the hundreds of images I have in my backlog.
This photo was taken on a recent family holiday to my favourite place - Ardnamurchan on the West Coast of Scotland. This is my brother, who at the moment this photo was taken was the most westerly person on the British mainland!

Since the season is almost coming to an end, (last date for me to bring in eggs is 8/20) the eggs and new hatchlings that I find now will be the ones that I tag and will make their way to Mexico... this Fourth Generation will live 8-9 months as opposed to the ones we see in the garden now that only live 2-6 weeks...
This morning while I was out looking for eggs and hatchlings, I spotted 5 males fluttering around and having their morning sips... had to grab my camera and click!

Okay, so it has been awhile since I've posted anything. Life happens and keeps our little family busy. I have lots of puppy photos that I haven't even been through yet, so hopefully I can post some more over time. All of the puppies have gone to their homes leaving us a big mess to clean up in the basement (not that kind of mess, although we had plenty of that too for several weeks). We miss the little sh**s but we are happy they have families. Here is an image of Devotion laying low, yet keeping his eye on me...ready to attack that big, mean camera. You can almost hear the baby "grrrrr". Little does he know, that he isn't going to hide from anything with that wagging tail giving him away.
