I swear I wasn't meaning to shoot this same barn again... I was looking for deer and well... this happened behind me!
When I took this picture, I was captivated by the morning light over the lake. The light beaming down on the lake gave it a heavenly look.
Coincidentally to posting this Tahoe group, just now I was working on my project to cull photographs from my phone and this one came by. Just a phone shot of the image on Heavenly Valley resort's webcam showing on my laptop screen. Going by memory it's either the sun in late afternoon, or the moon, casting light on the lake through a broken cloud deck. I was about to pitch it when it occurred to me to use my phone's AI editor feature. I was pleased with the refinement ((which was not drastic, although I cannot explain the two orbs) so I have kept both.
After my tedious journey in Krabi and Koh Lanta, the Thai Massage really removed the tiredness from my body.
Imagine yourself getting this massage... the sun setting, the warm breeze from the sea caressing your skin, and... the sound of waves lapping against the sand filtering into your ears... if this is not heavenly... well... it was very close to that... LOL!
The next time you come to Thailand, try the Thai Massage... an experience you will not forget!

Back in 2002, someone threw a lit cigarette out one of these gondolas, igniting the Heavenly Gondola Fire, which burned 260 acres and threatened to overwhelm South Lake Tahoe.
Upon exiting the subway station on Thanksgiving day on my way to a dinner at a friend's, my first thought was "what a celestial sunlight this afternoon". One minute later, this beautiful energy materialized and froze in my frame...

Tianchi is an alpine lake in Xinjiang, Northwest China, The name (天池) literally means Heavenly Lake and can refer to several lakes in mainland China and Taiwan. It is an alpine drift lake shaped in the Quaternary Glacier period.

The scientific name is derived from the Greek words odon (tooth) and glossa (tongue), referring to the two tooth-like calluses on the base of the lip.
