An engine cut-off switch lanyard is a safety device that is attached from the boat operator to the ignition. If it is disconnected, the engine will shut down, potentially preventing a boater who has fallen overboard from being injured by the moving propeller of a runaway boat.

I had a blown head gasket, so i pulled the engine to make that easier. I had teh transmission rebuilt while the engine was out. I replaced all the suspension bushings, new lowered springs, shocks, and brake rotors.

The San Francisco Fire Department lost two of its members from Engine Company 26, who were both critically injured during an explosion while bravely fighting a house fire in the Diamond Heights neighborhood on June 2, 2011. Both died at the hospital as a result of their injuries after all rescussitative measures were taken by the Emergency Trauma staff at San Francisco General Hospital.
Days later firefighters from around California and around the country gathered to pay their respects during a funeral service. In this sequence we see some of the equipment from the East Bay Area.

Just a thought....always remember to bring your spark plug wrench and an extra plug if you go on a long ride with a two stroke! I didn't! I knew better, too. The day went downhill quickly!
