A striking close-up of a performer in a detailed steampunk-inspired monster costume at the Guggenmusik Festival. Rusted metal elements, intricate textures, and an expressive face bring this character to life in the vibrant atmosphere of the event.

A deep red rose emerges from darkness, its velvet petals catching just enough light to reveal their richness. Set against a black background, the simplicity draws focus to texture, tone, and the quiet elegance of a single bloom.

in the labyrinth of palma's streets, i met defiance with a silver mane. the man's eyes, heavy with untold sagas, bore into mineâa storm behind glass. his finger, outstretched, blurred but resolute, spoke louder than words. the light danced gently on his wild beard, a contrast to the sharp lines etched on his face. there was a challenge here, a dare, but also a quiet understanding. this was not just a portrait; it was a declaration.

Here are a few of the 13 million bricks in Ft. Pulaski. How many modern masons could do this? A young Robert E. Lee was here as a 2nd Lieutenant during construction. The Howitzer cannons at Ft. Pulaski, a number of which can still be seen, were smooth-bore guns. When Union forces attacked with rifled Howitzers, the fort fell in less than two days.

a single figure walks the tiled corridor of steel and glass, framed by the long breath of waiting trains. somewhere in the vanishing point ahead, a journey begins—or ends. in the echo of footfalls and symmetry, the architecture of transit becomes a cathedral of stillness.

What’s going on guys? Weekend is getting closer and I’m already feeling that mood is getting little lighter! So let me add some sunshine to the mix as well as promised. This is taken a few days back from 15mil away. What do you think?

Dramatic black and white portrait of elderly woman reaching up, half-lit by triangle of sunlight

It's not about where the road leads.

It's about who you travel with.

A wonderful day with my sunshine Valerie ♥♥♥

The road lies quiet before them.

The engine has fallen silent, but their hearts still beat to the rhythm of the journey.

They just wanted to escape everyday life.

A little way out, towards the sunset.

But somewhere between the wind in their hair and the evening glow, a trip turned into a moment that feels like eternity.

The sun bathes everything in warm gold.

Their shadows merge on the tarmac, just like their thoughts, their closeness, their breath.

No words are necessary.

Their hands find each other as if they had never known anything else.

A quiet smile.

A look that says: Here. Right here. With you.

The world can move on.

The day can end.

But this moment remains.

And as the light slowly disappears behind the horizon, they know:

Sometimes you don't need a big journey.

Just two hearts beating in unison.

**Prompt :**

**Prompt:**

A young female space explorer stands perfectly still in a dense, bioluminescent alien forest. She wears a slightly worn white spacesuit, marked with subtle scratches and signs of previous expeditions. Her transparent helmet reflects the organic glow around her, casting shifting violet and magenta highlights across her focused, intense face.

Hovering just inches from her is a strange, otherworldly creature, resembling a fusion between an amphibian and a luminous cosmic entity, like a celestial axolotl. Its semi-translucent body pulses with internal pink and violet light, while delicate, glowing tendrils drift and ripple as if suspended in water. Its large, radiant eyes convey an uncanny intelligence, locked onto the explorer in a silent, charged moment of connection.

The environment is a lush extraterrestrial jungle, saturated with surreal colors: deep purple foliage, glowing mushrooms, towering organic structures with wet, textured surfaces. Tiny particles float in the air like stardust, catching the light. The ground is damp, crossed by a shimmering stream reflecting the alien sky above.

In the background, a massive blue-gray celestial body looms low in the sky, partially veiled by thick, dramatic clouds. The atmosphere feels heavy, almost electrically alive, hinting at a sentient ecosystem. A thin mist weaves between the trees, enhancing depth and immersion.

Cinematic lighting: a cool, moonlit backlight contrasts with warm, organic glows emitted by the flora and the creature. Shallow depth of field, razor-sharp focus on both subjects, with a softly blurred background filled with bioluminescent bokeh.

Hyperrealistic style, ultra-detailed 8K rendering, highly refined textures (fabric, skin, organic surfaces), inspired by contemplative science fiction. Balanced face-to-face composition, strong narrative tension, capturing a suspended moment between discovery and connection.

Camera: tight side profile shot at eye level, slow forward dolly movement.

Suggested sound design: deep silence, faint organic rustling, subtle rhythmic pulses from the creature.

I quite often come across interesting skies in the afternoon from my office window. I grab my camera and instantly capture various shots, yet I rarely find the time to properly develop them. This particular image, among dozens of others, caught my attention again after 2 entire decades, and I finally decided to give it the care it deserved. Natural colors with minimal adjustments.

Power isn’t givenit’s awakened in fire and fury.

Shadows bend where my will begins.

Bound to chaos, yet in full control of the storm.

Even monsters know who truly commands the darkness.

the sea was loud but she walked through it as if wrapped in a different frequency. the clouds stacked above portixol like unwritten sentences – heavy with meaning, uncertain in tone. in the brief flicker of dusk, her jacket caught the last sigh of light, glowing like defiance against the incoming night. this was not just a walk. it was punctuation between two storms.

Low clouds spill across the rim while late-day sun carves a zig-zag of light through the buttes and terraces. Warm rock against cool shadows builds the depth and scale.

in the spaces between where we are and where we are going, children move without hesitation. they have not yet learned to fear the dark or doubt the destination. the corridor is vast, the exit small, but the direction is clear. forward, always forward, toward the light that promises something beyond these walls.

Saturday morning started with a 4am alarm and then a long drive up the M6 in the dark. The reward for these efforts was a bracing walk around Side Pike and some fabulous light in the Langdale Valley. I did have to endure several hail storms while waiting for the light, but thats all becoming a part of the adventure.

Captured inside the botanical garden, this orchid stood out immediately against the darker background. The deep crimson petals felt almost velvety in the light, with subtle white edges outlining each bloom. I am always drawn to contrast. Light against shadow. Color against depth. This one felt both dramatic and refined at the same time.

Unfortunately the Flickr administration didn’t approve of this picture. To get my account reopened, i had to remove it along with most of my photos - all being against the rules of Safe pictures on a Free account. I have therefor put some AI shorts on Chris and reposted... This is neither erotic nor sexual, it is a mermaid leading a man out on deep water.
