Lake Mjøsa is Norway’s largest lake, extending more than 100 kilometers from Lillehammer in the north to Minnesund in the south. The city remains almost absent, reduced to distant hints, while nature takes full command of the scene.

My parents driveway is just on the left of this corner. This is where I grew up. I think about the countless times I have driven or walked around this corner. And the many times I have photographed it. Life is a wonderful journey--we must all find our own way.

The impressive and very well kept lighthouse on Eilean Musdile, Just off the South end of the Isle of Lismore in the Sound of Mull, I've shot this a fair few times now but the conditions were simply perfect on this day with the dramatic lighting falling on the building, and the extremely menacing clouds above moving quickly along between heavy rain showers providing a moody backdrop against the hills.
