Posso estar tranquilo. A tradição está mantida, o passado é inspiração, as novas gerações garantem o presente e deixam exemplo para as que vierem sucedê-las.

In this picture combine four themes that I like to shoot: lines, layers, abstract and puzzles, because without the explanation it is quite difficult to guess what exactly is seen here. And this picture has an autobiographical component because these fans benches in a football field is placed in youth center in Talpiot neighborhood, where I played every day for two years in the early seventies, as part of my job as a youth instructor. But back then the gallery has not been painted in these bright colors.

Before my local shop for electronic components, Labb Elektronik, shut down, they gave away free bags with random stuff. These pictures are the result of sorting the components in these bags.

The Optoelectronic Component and Materials Laboratories (or OCM Labs) is a collection of graduate students, post doctoral fellows, visiting scientists and research staff who are engaged in investigating an enormous variety of phenomena and devices related to electronic materials and optics. Some of the work involves the basic physics of new semiconductor and organic materials, some focuses on devices using these materials, and yet other work looks at the system impact of optical devices and structures. The unifying goal of our work is the realization of practical optoelectronic devices.

This huge (about 50 feet long) tower component trundled past my home today, all manner of "oversize" flags flapping, warning vehicles leading and trailing with lights going... it was very impressive. I shot the turbine blades are few days later.

Unlike copper wire-based transmission where the transmission entirely depends on electrical signals passing through the cable, fiber optic communication is the type of communication is used to transmit voice, video, telemetry, and data over long distances and local area networks or computer networks. A fiber Optic Communication System uses lightwave technology to transmit the data over fiber by changing electronic signals into light.
Some exceptional characteristic features of fiber optic system design like large bandwidth, smaller diameter, lightweight, long-distance signal transmission, low attenuation, transmission security, and so on make this communication a major building block in any telecommunication infrastructure.
FAQs of Fiber Optic System
What are Fibre optics used for? What are Fibre optics used for?
Optical fiber is used as a medium for telecommunication and computer networking because it is flexible and can be bundled as cables. It is especially advantageous for long-distance communications, because infrared light propagates through the fiber with much lower attenuation compared to electrical cables.
What is advantage of fiber optic cable? What is advantage of fiber optic cable?
Fiber Supports Very High Bandwidth Levels. When it comes to bandwidth, no currently available technology is better than fiber – especially singlemode fiber. Fiber optic cables provide more bandwidth to carry more data than copper cables of the same diameter
Does cold weather affect fiber optic cable? Does cold weather affect fiber optic cable?
Due to fiber optics sending light beams down the thin strands of glass rather than electrical signals, these cables are not affected by weather changes. Rain, cold and extreme heat can affect traditional electrical signals but do not have any affect on fiber optics.
What are the different sizes of fiber optic cable? What are the different sizes of fiber optic cable?
Let's talk about fiber optic types and core sizes. There are three common core sizes: 9/125, 50/125, and 62.5/125. Each of those numbers stands for a measurement, and that measurement is in microns.
What are the main components of a fiber optics system? What are the main components of a fiber optics system?
The three basic elements of fiber optic system components are the core, the cladding, and the coating. Core: This is the light transmission area of the fiber, either glass or plastic. The larger the core, the more light that will be transmitted into the fiber.
