I used component 1 as my bottom layer, component 2 as the second layer, and component 3 as the top layer. I put a layer mask on component 2 and component 3 so I could add the parts from component 1 that I wanted. I then flattened the layers once I was happy with the whole image. After that I used the clone stamp tool on a separate layer to fix some parts of the leaves. Then I used the spot healing tool to clean up the surface of the pot and the reflection of the pot.

You might remember this body cap from a previous experiment in which I added a step up ring in order to hold filters. I've removed the old pinhole and bored a larger hole using a dremel tool.

Similarly, I recycled this pinhole and film canister cap from my Asahi-Pentax mod.

Just recently, a friend brought me this box of cover glasses. These are almost next to impossible to source in Hanoi.

Shutter power module.

The external VS14s shutter need an 65V @4 ms pulse to close into 3.5ms. This powermodule make the 65V from the 7.2V battery. During camera focus adjusting, I need near 20V to close the shutter and 5V to hold the shutter open. This circuit has a fet to limit the 65V to 20V in adjust mode.

A lot of security functions are need, to drive the DC/DC convertor an AVR controller ATtiny26 is used.

I've been doing some bread board prototyping for a microcontroller

based battery desulfator unit. At this point I am heating up a

inductor or the mosfet both of which are BAD. I think my pulse is

inverted so I'm working on fixing that today.

One of the most exciting components of A+ Partners in Education, Battle of the Books gets fifth grade students excited about reading. A lively academic competition, Battle of the Books improves reading comprehension, builds vocabulary, and teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship. The 2015 competition runs concurrently at Howard, Mt. Hebron, Oakland Mills, River Hill and Wilde Lake high schools.

Teams of five students and one adult coach each read the same 16 pre-assigned books over four months. Selected by HCLS instructors and HCPSS media specialists, titles include a wide range of reading levels and subjects. Thanks to generous sponsors, all teams receive a set of books. In addition to reading the books, teams choose a team name then dress accordingly.

During the "battle" (a 50-question exam), a moderator asks questions that relate to one of the following: a direct quote from one of the book characters; a statement about something that happens in the book; a passage taken directly from the book; details about an illustration or picture. Winning teams receive prizes.

Gala 75 Aniversario Coros y Danzas "Villa de Madridejos"

VÍDEO en youtu.be/3ehb5TZVQ4A

NON-NUCLEAR COMPONENT STORES BUILDING 61 –

Building 61 (Drg No. 1245/53) is a Non-Nuclear Component Stores with attached concrete gantry on four columns projecting over the road to the front (west). Reasons for Designation Building 61 is designated at Grade II for the following principal reasons:

▪︎RARITY – A rare building on a unique site designed to accommodate and service Britain's first nuclear weapon, the ''Blue Danube''. It is the only such surviving facility in the country.

▪︎HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION – The building has outstanding national and international interest for its historical associations with the development of the earliest British nuclear weapons technology during the Cold War, which helped shape Britain's post-war history.

▪︎GROUP VALUE – The building has strong group value with other buildings at RAF Barnham, and was part of the national deployment of nuclear weapons.

▪︎INTACTNESS – Building 61 is largely intact.

Non-nuclear component stores buildings 60 and 61, held the high explosive part of the bomb and its outer casing. The central section of the casing held the high explosive lenses assembled into a large ball with forward sections containing electronics and radars. Owing to the weight and size of ''Blue Danube'', the gantry at the entrance was required to manoeuvre the bomb onto a trolley for storage. Building 61 is currently used as small work units and has blockwork partitioning which is reversible.

▪︎MATERIALS – A reinforced concrete frame and blockwork walls, and a flat concrete roof. ▪︎PLAN – Rectangular, aligned approximately east-west.

▪︎EXTERIOR – Building 61 is surrounded by substantial earth bunds. It has a central recessed entrance flanked by two projecting two storey, flat roofed plant and switch rooms which originally contained plant to maintain a stable environment. The original steel doors remain. The rear elevation has a central door and there are crittall windows to the rear and sides.

▪︎INTERIOR – Originally sub-divided internally into compartments of 11ft x 3ft bays allowing the storage of up to 66 bombs, Building 61 has been partitioned internally to create smaller work units.

Although the site was in use for storage of Mustard Gas and explosives during World War II, it was not until after the end of hostilities that the depot was constructed in its current form. In the early 1950's, the Air Ministry had a continuing need for high explosive bombs and storage facilities for them and was looking ahead to a ''future war in which atomic and thermo-nuclear weapons would be used by both sides''. It is within this historic context that the Special Storage Unit at RAF Barnham was constructed following the issuing of ''Blue Danube'', Britain's first nuclear bomb, to the RAF in November 1953.

The bombs were held in clutches in V-bomber airfields such as RAF Scampton and RAF Wittering and the purpose of the store at RAF Barnham, and the almost identical site at RAF Faldingwoth in Lincolnshire, was to provide maintenance and refurbishment to support the airfields and hold spare warheads. The Air Ministry plan for the Store is dated May 1953, although planning for the facility almost certainly had started before this, and it was fully operational by July 1954. In the first phase of works, the fences, earthworks, fissile core storage hutches, inspection buildings and gantries were built by August 1955.

The small arms and pyrotechnics store, barrack accommodation, gymnasium, telephone exchange, meat preparation store and dog compound were erected shortly after to strengthen security. By mid 1955 the double fence was in place, later augmented by the current observation towers erected in early 1959 replacing smaller structures. The Special Storage Unit remained the main holding place for the Mk. 1 Atomic Bomb, under control of Bomber Command until November 1956 when an independent Unit (95 Commanding Maintenance Unit) was formed. During the operational life of the site, second and third generation British nuclear weapons such as ''Red Beard'' and ''Yellow Sun'' were introduced on the site.

By 1962, the site was in decline and the maintenance unit ceased to exist on 31st July 1963. The closure of the station is probably linked to the operational deployment of ''Blue Steel'' from late 1962. The site was sold to the current owners in 1966 and let out for light industrial use. Some of the buildings have been altered and most significantly, one of the non-nuclear stores burnt down in the 1980’s, but there has been an on-going maintenance and repair programme agreed with English Heritage resulting in the preservation of the site.

United Nations police week 2017

Discussion among heads of United Nations police components, UN Women and Police Division on achieving gender-responsive policing.

On Monday, the Security Council adopted resolution 2382 (2017), which supports operationalizing the Strategic Guidance Framework for International Police Peacekeeping. The resolution also recognized the important role that United Nations police components play in the protection of civilians, including in preventing and addressing sexual and gender‑based violence, and violations and abuses against children.

In his address to the Security Council, Under‑Secretary‑General for Peacekeeping Operations Jean‑Pierre Lacroix said the United Nations police played a continued vital role in bridging the Organization’s work from prevention and peacekeeping to peacebuilding and development (Video recording). The Police Commissioner of the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti (MINUJUSTH), Brigardier General Georges-Pierre Monchotte, briefed the Security Council on good practices of reforming the Haiti National Police (video recording). The Police Commissioner of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), Issoufou Yacouba briefed on strengthening the serious and organized crime capacities of the Malian security forces (video recording). Police Commissioner Priscilla Makotose of the African Union/United Nations Hybrid operation in Darfur (UNAMID) briefed the Security Council on gender responsive policing (video recording). Following the briefing, Security Council President, Italian Ambassador Sebastiano Cardi, the Head of UN peacekeeping USG Jean-Pierre Lacroix and Police Adviser Luis Carrilho (UNPOL) delivered a press briefing (video recording).

On Tuesday, the discussions of heads of UN police components focused on partnerships, good practices and challenges of UN capacity-building. More than 11,000 United Nations police officers from 89 countries (as of September 2017), are mandated to assist host-States in reforming their police and other law enforcement institutions.

Building on Security Council resolution 2382 (2017), Police Commissioners focused on Wednesday on how police can be more effective in conflict prevention, peacekeeping and peace sustainment. Heads of UN police components also discussed how to achieve gender-responsive policing. As of September 2017, 1,118 female police officers from 70 countries serve in peacekeeping operations and special political missions. They act as role models for gender equality, inspiring women and girls to advocate for their own rights and pursue careers in law enforcement.

On Thursday, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres briefly met and took a photo with the Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Assistant Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Bintou Keita, Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions, Alexandre Zouev, UN Police Adviser Luis Carrilho and Heads of police components in UN peace operations. In his message, Secretary-General Guterres stressed that United Nations police save countless lives, heal community tensions. The Secretary‑General also called for more women in United Nations police command positions.

Earlier on the same day, the UNAMID Police Commissioner Priscilla Makotose, MONUSCO Police Commissioner Awale Abdounasir and MINUSCA Police Commissioner Roland Zamora briefed the Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations (C-34) on transitioning, gender/electoral security and capacity development respectively.

On Friday, UN police week closed following a session on human rights in UN police activities. The closing remarks were delivered by Alexandre Zouev, Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions, Bintou Keita, Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions and UN Police Adviser Luis Carrilho.

www.excessparts.net/ Come to think about it, this very simple and small component helps in making your electronic machine function well and the very good thing is that these parts and components are readily available anywhere and anytime which is such an advantage for each and every one because we all know that we have and make use of various electronic machines and products in our own house.

The Hertz HSK135 components complete with crossover were mounted in the front doors. We used a 5x7 adapter to put the 5.25" and the tweeter close together for better imaging. We covered the entire area of the plastic bracket with Dynamat to seal it up better but I forgot to take a picture of it when done. This was an important step to better deaden and seal the area around the speaker.

There is so much symmetry in nature, yet it is always sprinkled with a bit of asymmetry. The combination which is probably aligned with the golden ratio of 1.618 (just a guess though) makes everything in nature so aesthetically appealing and wonderful to experience with the visual and also the somatosensory components and systems divinely bestowed to our biological manifestations in reality.

I'll be rebuilding this, replacing the Sand Blue w/Sand Green and the Dark Grey with White, for use atop a structure I'm currently building. You can see how I built it out of four components - a drum/base surmounted by two more hinged rings and then a cap made of slopes, 1x3 plates (mostly), and 1x1 round bricks. The dishes here really don't add anything - I was trying to see if I could make the inside decorated (I haven't solved that yet). The quarter plates do help to hold together the structure somewhat.

The plastic lugs were a bit loose so i thought I could pop them out with a file like I did on the Dart that became RB 11. They refused and disintegrated slowly as I levered them up. Instead I excavated them both out until only the narrow bit was left at the top where I could not get. Then I got some pliers and gripped the metal pole end that I had uncovered and twisted it as I pulled on the upper deck. This loosened the final part of the plugs and they fell out and the bus came apart. It came into these parts.
