The EBRD’s partnerships with donors are a crucial component of the Bank’s business model. In providing resources for technical cooperation and other grants or concessional instruments, donors help the Bank to deliver its transition mandate, while at the same time contributing to broader economic development outcomes. At this event, donors and the EBRD discussed the results of their partnership and future challenges and reforms. The 2014 Donor Report was launched.
For 10 years employees of Integral Components Inc., a family-run business in Westminster, Md., boxed care packages for deployed service members. In the past four years they've concentrated on Maryland National Guard units. On Nov. 16, 2012, 180 boxes were packed for four Maryland units and one active duty Air Force unit.
"It makes me happy that we're blessed with the ability to do this," said Russ Keiser, vice president of sales for Integral Components Inc. "Hopefully this is the last year we send overseas in Afghanistan. We could bring them [service members] happiness stateside."

Chert (a.k.a. "flint") is a cryptocrystalline, quartzose sedimentary rock. Rockhounds and some geologists assert that flint is high-quality while chert is low-quality. Some geologists assert that "flint" implies a biogenic origin and "chert" implies a chemical origin.
Many cherts do have a chemical origin - chert nodules are moderately common in some limestone units. The nodules form during diagenesis - pre-existing siliceous components in the carbonate sediments are dissolved, mobilized, and reprecipitated as chert masses. Some cherts do have a biogenic origin - for example, radiolarian cherts (rich in radiolarian microfossils) or spicular cherts (rich in siliceous sponge spicules).

Gipiemme offered components across the board although not all of them were made in house. These cool looking, short reach brakes boasted a quick release mechanism, allen key fitting and open ended brake pad housings with Incorporated wheel guides. It was every feature that a more expensive brake had to offer.
The quality was poor with the black painted arms scratching very easily and the chrome finish to the nuts and brake shoes beginning to rust after the first outing in wet weather. "Funky" is once again, the key word.

Shimano Alfine hydraulic disc brakes, Brooks B67 saddle, SKS fenders, Alex DM24 rims, Schwalbe Big Apple 2.15 tires. These brakes are outstanding. I have long been a huge fan of Shimano's hydraulic brakes, and the Alfine levers and calipers are as good as it gets. The rear caliper is mounted on the chainstay, which keeps it out of the way of the rack and fender eyelets. While I've gotten used to hydro disc brakes on my mountain bikes, to have them on a traditional-looking touring bike (with a curved, lugged front fork) is really special.
