Orlando Brewing is the local beer. These hand-crafted organic ales and lagers are already available in select bars and restaurants across Central Florida. Many more are coming aboard. And, of course, you can always wet your whistle right here at the Tap Room.

Orlando Brewing is Florida’s only certified organic brewery. What does it mean to be organic? It means that ingredients used in crafting our ales are grown without insecticides, bioengineering, or irradiation.

Orlando Brewing brews in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. That means we use only natural, organic ingredients.

These are the meads we have started already, chillin' out. They are, respectively, a 1 gallon bucket of sweet mead just over 1 month into secondary fermentation (after second racking), and 5 gallons (actually, more like 6) of sweet mead one week into primary fermentation.

... and that's that. I kind of like the little indent in the cap--like those "safety lids" that were oh-so-fun to pop as a kid.

Entrance to Brew Wharf from Stoney Street in Borough Market, London.

The Brew Wharf was created by restaurateurs Claudio Pulze and Trevor Gulliver to add a beer dimension to the Vinopolis complex next door. In addition to good food and import beer, they also have a small brewery on the premises.

Canon Brewery, Sheffield

A must for the start of a day.

In late April, Samantha and I were at a birthday party for my nephew. The night before our friends informed us they would be at Bauhaus Brew Labs that evening and that we should stop by. Conveniently, my sister lives in Northeast Minneapolis and it was a quick drive to their taproom.

Bike and brew enthusiasts took a beautiful bike ride then met up for music, beer and fun at Waterfront Park in Martinez, California.

Fun events like these enable athletes throughout the state to participate in The Special Olympics.
