Herbed / Spiced Beer | 6.60% ABV
A gruit (a fermented malted barley beverage brewed before hops were used for bittering). Closer to beer than other homebrew gruits I've tried, bittering is provided by bog myrtle.

A wizzard in his tent brewing a cauldron full of potjiekos ('pot of food'), a local favourite. A stew in veggie, chicken and beef variations, it's served on rice. It was a bit predictable and bland, but good nevertheless. The specks in the photo is the infamous red dust swirling around.
