I tried to bakc focaccia, but the yeast seemed to have died. i baked half of the dough anyway. It actually wasn't that bad on the second day (today), but when I first ate it out of the oven I thought, "holy crap this is dense."

Still a bit jetlagged but tagged along with us to go get breakfast from the famous bakery.

didn't think they were moving along fast enough. But they did, eventually. The dough is very wet and sticky. Water and a dough blade/scraper are my best friends

This was my first attempt ever at making homemade bread. The crust was a really crunchy and the overall taste was excellent.

I've been making bread on the weekends for sandwiches during the week, and today I just threw in some uncooked quinoa. It made for an interesting, slightly crunchy loaf.
