I milled the wheat for flour, then made whole grain bread- no icky white bleached flour!

100% Sprouted Wheat bread. Nothing but sprouted wheat grain, yeast, and salt. No flour at all. It's CRAZY, cool, and extremely good. Especially with this blueberry-orange jam from Whitney.

I'm very proud of how pretty the loaves are. Especially the bigger one. And it tasted great, too!

I used a recipe from Beard on Bread, about 50% graham flour and 50% white bread flour.

Baking day! Mmmmm ... there's nothing quite like the smell of new-made bread.

"Bubble(s)" - #4/112 - for my ongoing photochallenge: 112 pictures in 2012

my finished bread from using my sourdough ( the sourdough was three days old)....the two of them was baked in a glassbox with the lid on half the way...and the other ones just in the oven and a bit cooler degrees...but some of them should have been given some minutes more...maybe five minutes...while two of them have a small wet area in the midle of it...

I'll probably regret posting this later...(Eduardo Corral)

The bread is only being placed here to cool. It was baked in my full sized oven.

This one had a lot more oven spring than my last one, but I'm not entirely sure why. I think I had the baking stone hotter this time around, and the dough was denser.

Le Roule French cheese and honey wheat bread. Killer midnight snack.

Cheese Bread made for Christmas.

Kai and his preschool buddy (and families) got together for dinner. The two kids got to cut out some shapes for pan-fried bread.

With supper my wife prepared bread with homemade Jam/Jelly.

Mm, bread from Poujauran.

This bread was really good, perhaps the best I've eaten so far...not that I've eaten much. (Steingarten didn't think it was one of the best, hm!) Main difference between this baguette and others I've had so far is that this is saltier. Otherwise, the crust was heavenly to me. You have to eat it right away though; if you save it for later (as in a few hours), it'll DECAY.

Mmmm. It's all about the fresh thyme, (and the garlic-rubbed bread, wonderful summer tomatoes, garlic, basil, purple onion, olive oil and balsamic vinegar).
