The Colinton Tunnel is a disused Victorian railway tunnel in Edinburgh, Scotland, transformed into Scotland's largest outdoor mural. The 140-meter-long tunnel features a vibrant, community-created mural that tells the history of the local area, inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's poem "From a railway carriage". Originally built in 1874 as part of a railway line connecting Colinton to the city, it was later closed and fell into disrepair before being revitalized by a local charity as a free, accessible tourist attraction.

This beautiful young Sparrowhawk sat in my garden for quite a few minutes. I wonder if it's the regular Sparrowhawks offspring?

At the end of June I got a hedgehog named Bert from the local shelter to release into the wild. Of course I had bought a hedgehog villa for him and a wildcam to see what happens at night. This camera also recorded how Timmy persuaded me to cuddle him 😊
Lo Spagnoletto by Negri played on a 10 String Classical Guitar. The guitar is in Renaissance lute interval tuning. The original was written for seven course lute with the seventh course tuned to F.
