I was delighted to find "my" Bolas making her egg sac. I'm not sure when she started at night? Her body seemed shrunken by the effort.

A short walk from the bustling city centre of Inverness is Carnac Point
A small navigation light tower is situated on the point, which extends out into the Beauly Firth ( it is the outlet for both the River Beauly and River Ness)
Across the water is the Kessock Bridge. The hill you see in video is Ord Hill
The Dog you see in video is not mine, it just wanted to greet me at Carnac Point❤
Tripod posture : while grooming, the springtail suddenly lifted all legs of one side of the body. They remaine stable on the 3 legs of the other side of the body. You can also see how fast the vesicle is withdrawn in the collophore and the springtail is drinking a drop of it before starting eating again.

2 - Hier, 5 Septembre. Il y avait des travaux de terrassement à côté de l'enclos des loups. Chance, car les loups étaient actifs, pour une fois. Ils passent beaucoup de temps à dormir en journée, presque invisibles, sous de jeunes de peupliers.
