The girl is brave. I admire her alot. She did not want to go up..she hates to fly..but she said she would do it..AND SHE DID. That is bravery, courage, and inspiration.
Thanks Doctor Mike for being a great pilot...but fuck you for not getting her to puke and cutting MY DAY short cause of high maintenance freak-out chic.

baby's 1st flight! and it was to.. lulu's tree :*))
after falling to the roof from its high, high branch..... then getting on a berry frond (see previous video) .. then falling to the ground!...... it got back up to the roof and then flew not to its nursery tree ~ where it hatched and has been for these 45 days

It was worth to get up early this morning to listen to the Pygmy-Owl. It was -11°C and I needed to go there with my bicycle because the location is in a forest were no vehicles are allowed. Good that I took hot tea with me and I was happy to listen to the sound of the Owl 😉
The camera and lens were left in place for the shots; nothing was moved, resized or pasted out of place from exactly where it occurred (I'm not a fan of faked "big moon " shots).
The post-rise images were captured at an exposure that precluded inclusion of the foreground, so the presence of the static foreground captured at an exposure a couple of minutes earlier implements a bit of a time shift of the foreground from pre to post-rise.
This guy was so active I had to set up a trail cam to figure out what he was doing. Turns out they really like black oil seeds.

My first underwater video! So excited! These was my first efforts and it was 9 last night, imagine the quality when its sunny and during the day! Sorry for the shaky start, for some reason WMM didn't like these videos so I had lots of fun putting them on different computers with different versions (basically a massive headache, what should have been easy turned into a nightmare).

My saddest moment (when I fell in... Joke!) was when the battery ran out and there was Roach and a Eel disappearing into the rocks, gutted! :(

Short video of a grizzly that circled our yard twice and spent two hours grazing on mostly horsetail and was digging a little for roots.
He also tossed a pile of old pressure treated beams and rubbed himself against the smelly, likely still poisonous wood, which thankfully made me aware of the bears presence.
