1115 6th Street. The business went through several name changed over the years. In the 1930s, the company was known as Ambrose's Dry Goods and Ready-to-Wear. During the the 1940-1950s, it was known as Ambrose's Store. In 1960-1970s, it was called Ambrose Department Store. The business closed in the late 1980s. Photo taken in 1961.

This old corner store has been closed my entire lifetime, but it's appearance hasn't changed a bit!
Floyd R. Best began operating this General Store on Linden St in 1942. His parents, William and Sevilla Best, had run the Macada store since 1891.

The entry to the country store at Kimball Farm in Westford. I took this from the other side of the street and I could barely see over the snowbank on the side of the road. Still, I love the way teh light came out in this and it just feels warm inside.

Today my little cousin had a dance competition in Norfolk, right next to the MacArthur Mall so I stopped by there afterwards and went to the Sanrio store. They moved it in the mall and it is a lot smaller than the other one and it has less stuff in it. Also everything there was SOOO expensive! But I still LOVE the store! Still so many great goodies!!
