This store was previously a men's clothing store called Top Man, and most recently another clothing store called In Style. I've always liked the mirrored panels on the inside walls and on the top of this storefront.

Sari-sari Store - Mirla, do you remember the sari-sari store we had there at Munoz, Nueva Ecija? I wonder if Hector remember it too... It was on that place that Sammy coined the word "duoy" to refer to fermented anchovies .. meaning bagoong ... remember? The store was under a guyabano tree and was in a kubo separate from the house we stayed in. Mommy was the proprietor of that store.

Hundreds of anxious shoppers gathered at the Tradewind Center for a "Flying Saucer Sale" where cardboard discs were sailed off the center roof containing coupons for free or discounted merchandise. Roses Store Manager John Moss says some 5,000 discs were distributed throughout the day.

Mannequins are designed to be looked at by us, but from the way they are posed in this photo, it appears the mannequins are doing the looking themselves at a live person standing just outside their store window.
One of my favorite places to visit. I usually get Starbucks coffee (corporate coffee!) first thing when I go into the store and walk around with my cup-o-goods, and afterwards I head toward the back to the electronics and books sections, with stops in the men's clothing department, too, of course.
I love to examine people's body-reactions to certain situations.

This abandoned country grocery store is located outside St. Albans wv. is symbol of a bygone era, when the community was served by the local mom and pop grocery store. Sometimes teh things that was done in that past was the glue that held the community together.
