Restless Flycatcher (Myiagra inquieta) in the forest on an overcast day in central Victoria, Australia. On first hearing this bird's distinctive calls, I followed the sound, and came across this Restless Flycatcher fluttering at about eye-level, looking for insects on the forest floor; it was great to watch. I crouched down to make myself appear smaller to the bird, and it landed on this fallen branch close to me, before eating a 50c-piece-sized black spider whole. This image was taken a few seconds after.
I have seen this bird in the summer months at this location, but never in the winter. It was a great surprise.
Hyacinth風信子is the Theme Flower of Hong Kong Flower Show 2012.
This photo shows one way in which I perceive its beauty, particularly with its glow under natural light (actually cloudy that morning:-), and its being a little messy (thus the name restless). I hope you like it!

雖然風信子是今年花展的主題花，但比較少它的照片放上網。其實我覺得它是非常優美呢。
This is the second of the pair of London images. Opted for a lot shorter exposure on this one this to be able to catch some outlines of people on the bridge and show just a touch of movement in the restless sky.
I wanted to do the same with this one, as the previous and make sure that I caught no technology which, I hope, will allow the viewer to be able to place the image in any period of history, be it now or in yester-year.

I took this image a while ago last spring, but have been playing with the processing, trying to find the right feel
2.6.2015. The harbour wall at Sennon has been battered by the Atlantic swell for over a hundred years.
Cape Cornwall can be seen in the top left corner of the image.
I was fascinated by the patterns and colours revealed during the slow shutter speed.

After posting one of my favourites from Tremenheere Sculpture Garden today (see previous post >>), it reminded me of another favourite which only works as a video, as it moves.
The video starts slowly and get exciting about halfway through.
