Two cubs brown bear (Ursus arctos) cubs are getting restless and ready to play while their mom tries to catch fish in the creek. Silver Salmon Creek area, Lake Clark National Park on the coast of Cook Inlet. Alaska. Conservation status: Least Concern #NaturalExposures

Large black-and-white songbird with fine bill and long legs. Black above, white below, with narrow white eyebrow. Similar Restless Flycatcher has white chin, no white eyebrow, and more peaked crown. Inhabits parks, farms, and grasslands, where often perches prominently, flicking the tail from side to side and giving a pleasing “chitit-chitit-chitit” call. (eBird)

One of the many black and white Australian birds, the Willie-Wagtail can be found everywhere. They always made us smile as they flew around us, chasing the insects that we stirred up, and wagging their tails from side to side. They quickly become favourites of the whole group.

I started my walk with Emmy in sunshine, but by the time we returned home, the first drops of rain were falling. Spring is a time when literally any weather can happen, often within a very short time.

My wife's mom has a farm that isn't too far outside the city. On occasion, I find my way up there when I possibly think there might be a good sunset to be had. I ventured out a little further than I usually do and on my way back I found this darkened scene with just a little light left in the evening to squeak out a hand held image. I bellied up to the barbed wire fence and fired off a few. I will probably post a few more images from that night as I feel I came away with some powerful images. Hope you enjoy. Hope all of you are well. Be kind and love one another for we're all each other has.
