My lightbox made in about 5-7 minutes.

Whole wheat ones. Kinda like cheese bunnies or goldfish, but shaped like little teddy bears and better for you. They only lasted a couple hours before hundreds of them were all devoured...

Once again using the mandoline Christmas Gift from my son, I made a big batch of homemade potato chips deep fried in peanut oil.

Between fighting with a necklace design and just lazing around I made rolls. I also cheated and used a bread machine. They were for dinner...kinda. They're so good. Brushed with honey and butter. I'm the designator roll maker in the house...took over for my dad.

Homemade spaghetti sauce and spaghetti for lunch <3

After supper, my wife baked a banana bread. Here it is after we each sampled a piece, fresh from the oven.

I made bread people! And it didn't suck! I've never attempted homemade bread so I am thrilled this french bread turned out okay. Hooray!

Lots of onion and garlic, no cilantro.

Disc and caliper in place. The 180mm disc is a bit larger than I was going to use but it positions the caliper in the right place on the side rail.

R did a great job! And D and M too!

Gorgeous green pasta dough. It was incredibly silky soft to work with!

I bought an el-cheapo Holga and it's a blast! This is from the first roll of film I ever developed...I'm having way too much fun with this.

Recipe adapted from Rose Levy Beranbaum's The Bread Bible book.

 

The idea was from her prosciutto ring bread except I swapped it out with a mixture of fine diced country ham, spicy chorizo and calabrese salami, making it wonderfully spicy. The texture of the bread was fluffy yet chewy.

Homemade fisheye...

I made chicken noodle soup since I woke up feeling like I'd been run over by a truck and left for roadkill. With homemade noodles, frozen not made by me, but it's perfect.

First time making pasta with my kitchen aid. Homemade meatballs too. I really want to learn to make cheese and wine, then I could have a full homemade meal.

One of our favorite things to eat - tonight it was hamburger, pepperioni, bacon, and black olives - and the best part - is leftovers for lunch!!!!

Here is my attempt to document a Homemade Fettucini Alfredo dinner. I make the pasta with egg and flour. Let it rest. Then roll it out by hand and cut the pasta. The sauce is butter, garlic, olive oil, cream and parmesan cheese.

 

Taking pictures of food is really hard. The light in the kitchen sucks and then the food just doesn't look that tasty, but trust me it was really good :-)
