This week's theme was: Food

Although I'm trying to lose weight, I do still eat some cake. However, I instigated a new rule -- I am only allowed to eat cake that I have made myself.

There are two reasons for this: it stops me impulse buying cake in the supermarket and thus reduces temptation! It also means that I can reduce the amount of sugar in the cakes.

Though they look tempting in the shop, I do find many shop-bought cakes too sickly sweet for my taste.
