Grandma and Grandpa came over today and taught Enzo how to make Easter pie from scratch. The leftovers? Homemade pasta!
Fresh home made jam, from the gooseberries in my garden. Also made with organic sugar and organic lemon juice.

i needed baking mix. i didn't have any. so i made it from scratch. now i have plenty on hand, and it was easy!
I made this sealion when I was about 10 years old. I got a headmistress's distinction for it, and it was displayed in pride of place in some school display thingy.
Apparently, it was excellent work for someone aged only 10.
I'm just really pleased I made it, he always looks happy to me :)
For the June MSH - Home Made
I made this Persian lute using a locally grown gourd. It is fretless with nylon strings and the nut and bridge were carved from bone purchased at the local pet store. I used a wood burning pen to burn the decorative vines on the top. The pegs are wooden dowels sanded down to fit the peg holes.
Another batch of homemade donuts. This time I didn't fry them but used a yeast batter to bake just how you would to a normal bread. Turned out salty however. Will make another trial in the future.
Making the tags and flower pins, and wrapping presents took FOREVER!! But so worth it! I love how they turned out!
We love making our own homemade #PumpkinPuree. You can play with sweet and savory puree by sprinkling salt or sugar on top of the pumpkins before roasting. It's so easy you won't miss the canned stuff!
