Rotund Mk2 is a 4" original resin robot, featuring 3 interchangeable heads. Timed for the second anniversary of the original Rotund's release in 2009, two colourways will be made available at launch.
Rotund 2 Year Anniversary pack is a run of just 5 Rotunds and includes a matching Radcliffe Sprog, both sporting the original Dirty Copper colourway. The same three heads as Edition A are packed with this Rotund, tho the heads are sporting bright white eyes.
Backstory
"Rotund Mk1 was a companion robot designed with small children in mind, playful and simple, yet robust enough to take anything a day's play could throw at him.
Rotund Mk2 was never intended as a replacement for the Mk2, but as a companion robot for the teenage years once the Mk1's childish charms had been outgrown. Still solidly built, this 4 foot sidekick had a knack for being able to vary roles on the fly through a swift head-swap or two. The classic see-through projection dome of the Mk1 endured, a teaching aid able to display holographic representations of the study material in question (or the latest holo-thriller if correctly "tweaked"). Some new additions included a friendly-faced companion head for fun times and hijinks and a stern, multi-spectral security head to monitor the halls or enforce a curfew. The latter also had some sweet wide-angled lenses perfect for shooting skate vids for HoloTube.
Rotund Mk2 came with these 3 heads as standard, but as the unit became popular, demand for varied and unique applications ensured some interesting models became available."

The people of Cape Verde were very friendly and open. Sometimes it was hard for our guide to avoid being dragged into some long conversation with people we meet on our route.
Please look at the following shots (in comments). I really loved both of these birds, but especially this one coming to greet me. What I also loved it how he started looking excited that I was about to scratch his head. :-D

Both Peppa & Heidi are leaving. I've never let go of any of my dollies before, so this is definitely new for me. Their new home will be with Milky Robot and I'm excited to see what she will transform them into.
I love them very much & will miss them.♡

This raccoon paid me a surprise visit while I was fishing off a 10ft cement bridge. I caught a fish and I think he wanted it. I was in the middle of the bridge with my camera about to take a fish picture when he showed up and scared the bejesus out of me. Yes he is 4-5ft away and no I didn't get the fish pic. The fish went flying back in the water but I did get the raccoons expression on camera. He pays me a visit every time I go fishing there now but he never gets this close. All rights reserved. What Is It to Re-Think Radical Politics, Today?
Recent political events such as Brexit and the Trump victory should compel the Left to re-think its approaches. The rise of Right-wing populism is transforming the arena of conflict, struggle and antagonism in general, marking it with an increasingly xenophobic and nationalistic politics. How should the Left question and understand this arena anew? Is there an emergent politics, which can design effective forms of organization and confrontational strategies that can build on and extend in new ways logics of political communication? In what ways does the Left have to reconsider what it means to be radical – both in terms of agenda and strategy? How might the Left effectively adjust its trajectory and mobilize its forces to begin confronting the current moment with its increasingly hostile, cynical, and polarized social, economic, and political terrain?
Central to this new terrain is a rapid re-articulation of the relationship between the masses, communities, movements, infrastructure and media, both old and new. The challenge of this panel is: to explore new approaches to socio-political organization and mobilization, especially in the digital realm.
Moderated by Krystian Woznicki, this panel with prolific thinkers and researchers such as Natalie Fenton, Robert Latham and Jutta Weber will reflect on the data infrastructure of the public sphere, the role of digital media in the political field and a politics of re-collectivity that reconceives of conflict and struggle as progressive forces in democracy.
This panel, a copperation between Berliner Gazette and transmediale, has launched the Berliner Gazette annual project FRIENDLY FIRE.
