I didn't know who this dress was for when I got it, but I think it suits sweet little Jane very well :). I still think I am the only person in the whole world who loves StA EXACTLY as she is, crunchy hair and all.
Jane: My hair is . . . crunchy?
Me: Yeah, it's kind of time for a little trip to the spa again Jane.
Here's another shot of the wildlife that surrounded us during our stay at the Eaglereach Wilderness Lodge. This Kookaburra was all too happy to have his picture taken. When we originally spotted him (or her) he was off in the distance a bit. Well, I guess he saw my lens and knew that 100mm just wasn't going to cut it so he flight right onto the railing of our deck and smiled for this profile shot above.
Kookaburras have the most bizarre calls that I have ever heard which sounds like hysterical, laughter - leaning towards a maniacal, villain-esque cackling. Bizarre, right?
Well, to make a long story short - as friendly as this particular Kookaburra was, I think he was ultimately disappointed to not receive a hand out after our photo session. He expressed his particular displeasure by leaving a rather unsettling deposit all over the railing and deck :(

This morning was cloudy and gray at times and a few minutes later the sun would be shining bright. When the Downy appeared it was very gray so this image is not as good as the Robin that was taken just a short time in between. I really had a good time watching the birds but the kept hiding in the branches and leaves of the Bradford Pear tree. I also had about 6 Cedar Waxwings but they did not give me a good view long enough to capture. In my area we do not see them much. I was wondering if anyone has noticed that the Robins are staying high in the trees and very little time on the ground. This evening a flock of 30 or so was very active in the top of the trees flying from one tree to another.

The Middlesbrough FC Ladies visited Pyongyang for a series of friendly games with DPRK women's teams and school training classes. The visit was arranged by the UK Embassy in Pyongyang, Koryo Tours and CLSA to mark the 10th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UK and the DPRK.
