We stopped for our lunch break at this family's farm house up on the ridge. We'd brought our own food but they insisted on sharing their meal with us. The friendliness and hospitality of the people of Cape Verde knows no bounds, and never ceased to surprise.
Everything that we do is actually the game that we play.
And we all are living inside the game (you can also call
it the matrix). Language is the game as well as politics,
culture, economy and religion. We just have to admit the
MYSTERY OF INFINITY (and btw it is not possible to deny it)
and immediately we find ourselves at total abstraction i.e.
at the game.
Still when we are living inside the tight borders of the game,
we don't really even come to think that it might be the game.
And if once in a while it is still possible to understand who
is playing the game, mostly it is absolutely not understandable
by which rules the game is played. Or if the game is played by
these not known rules or are the players violating these not
known rules.
Our current situation at our planet is more similar to the Middle
Ages (or even the Stone Age) than the normal friendship of
the Cosmic Age. We should not forget that only fuction of each
Earthian is to live and not to destroy each other and hopefully
not even themselves.
So, if we could live by such simple rules by which the football
is played (where it is more than easy to see when the game is
played by the rules and when not), we could easily get rid of
most of our unnecessary problems. And we would finally live
at one globe.
The ball is at our hands. Football saves the World!

Say hello to a few friendly, curious cattle.
Our cousins own a ranch in SE Montana, where there are as far I can tell, several hundred pet cows. Proof that ranchers can not only be humane with their livestock but even friendly.
If you look at #934, you'll notice she's particularly curious. My cousin said if I stood there long enough she'd let me pet her! Crazy!
in the "musical clothing" room. the idea was to exchange pink clothes with other party goers in this room. but i think everyone was really attached to their pink clothes! miss mccoochie and i used it as a dressing room, though.

I know people and dogs and horses and... have nice and friendly eyes, but did you ever look a cow in its face?
They cut the horns nowadays, IMO it's a complete amputation, AND they have to wear these big ugly yellow earrings, they cause inflammations. It's a registration system because of diseases like BSE. Stupid, as implanting a chip is a good alternative.
This yard features a manageable-sized lawn and a permeable sidewalk, both Florida-friendly features.

This friendly fellow was waiting for mommy outside a bakery. I wanted to take his photo, but he just wanted to cuddle. I was able to snap one and then gave in. Aren't beagles the sweetest dogs ever?

It all started out very innocently. Little Pip felt a bit peckish and hat gotten some ice cream from the freezer. While he was just about to use his spoon to scoop up a huge bit of ice cream he realized that the most important ingredient was missing: Whipped Cream!
I quickly hopped to the rescue and got some, Pip however didn’t want to wait any longer, it seemed that he had already some ice cream in his snout (he didn’t even use his spoon!), so he gestured to me that I should try and aim the cream into the general direction of his head and he would catch it (only he said it a bit like Mhmmpipmmpip).
So just as I was pulling the trigger device, something strange happened. Pip suddenly perked up his ears, a strange look in his eyes and then he wandered off, it almost seemed as if he was under the spell of a distant sound....
The whole thing was rather unfortunate for poor Henry, who had picked out quite the wrong spot to do his reading... but then.. Who doesn’t like whipped cream... in his face? la la la.
I was a bit concerned about Pip though, specially about the state of his ice cream ;-)
Today Henry and Little Pip approached me for some ninja sheep lesson.
Henry had read a book about the art of Shaun-Jitsu and was curious about it and Pip was always up for a little brawl.
So I told them to attack me both at the same time.
Needless to say it was over in a second. Of course I was very gentle and only demonstrated the moves quite softly.
They were very impressed and we all bowed to each other and had a nice hot chocolate to get our strength back from the hard training :-)
Minister of State for Seniors Ralph Sultan presents a cheque for $15,000 to Kent Mayor John van Laerhoven. The funding is an age-friendly grant to help create programs or tools that address the needs of the district’s older residents. The District of Kent will use the funds to reach isolated seniors and raise awareness of the risk factors of isolation. The district will also promote local senior services through information boards, consolidated telephone number lists, a resource book and a communication directory.

Good old Tom "This is our island" Friendly, he was always such a mysterious figure in the early days, I put him in his "Walt Kidnapping" gear, complete with dynamite to blow up the poor raft with. I Modeled his beard after the "Dumbledore" kind, but it is a little shorter, to match the style of Tom's beard. He actually has a pretty good likeness to his face without the beard, I might post that later.
