This spider has been in that window for the last couple of months eating flies that are coming in from the tenants upstairs!!
Ran into this friendly pet at one of the hotels we stopped at for a pee break during our road trip in Iceland.
I know, I know. Shoulda focused on the eyes. Still, it's a good capture of a nasty little critter :)

independance day in Ubud, celebrations all over town. Ran into a "pack" of screaming giggly girls. very happy to have their photo taken, really sweet and super friendly.
Stepped outside at night for a few minutes, then came back indoors. When I walked into my brightly lit office, something caught my eye, and I looked down to see this fellow on my chest, climbing up my t-shirt. He must have thought I was a tree. Haha. Getting him loose was not so easy because tarantulas have little claws at the tip of each leg, plus the poor guy tried to hang on with his pedipalps as well.
