This squirrel lives near the community center in our town. He seems to be very friendly and not too shy of the camera.

considering that this is the calm side of Tasmania then it is truly frightening to imagine the 'Roaring 40s' smashing into the west coast. this must have been the greatest power play of nature I have ever experienced. photos cannot convey the blood curdling thrill one gets intoxicated with when standing on one of these beaches. wow!

Friendly shepherd dog in the high pastures near Zalanpatak. They all wear a wooden stick attached to a chain on their collar to stop them escaping.
