The stall I always stop at first during my farmer's market rounds on Sunday mornings.
An older gentleman from Mexico and his young sons and grandson are always so obliging and friendly. Their produce is also grown without pesticides, though not certified organic as it is too expensive for many small family farms to pay for certification.
This week was wonderful - they had quite a large offering of heirloom tomatoes!
Carter and his mom were passing by and we got into a conversation about about all the waterfowl activity and she told me about how fascinated Carter was with what was happening. Before they moved on, she graciously agreed to having their photo taken.

A Friendly Crew on the RRC takes some time to talk to 2 guys who had been chasing their train for a while.
I didn't know who this dress was for when I got it, but I think it suits sweet little Jane very well :). I still think I am the only person in the whole world who loves StA EXACTLY as she is, crunchy hair and all.
Jane: My hair is . . . crunchy?
Me: Yeah, it's kind of time for a little trip to the spa again Jane.
Here's another shot of the wildlife that surrounded us during our stay at the Eaglereach Wilderness Lodge. This Kookaburra was all too happy to have his picture taken. When we originally spotted him (or her) he was off in the distance a bit. Well, I guess he saw my lens and knew that 100mm just wasn't going to cut it so he flight right onto the railing of our deck and smiled for this profile shot above.
Kookaburras have the most bizarre calls that I have ever heard which sounds like hysterical, laughter - leaning towards a maniacal, villain-esque cackling. Bizarre, right?
Well, to make a long story short - as friendly as this particular Kookaburra was, I think he was ultimately disappointed to not receive a hand out after our photo session. He expressed his particular displeasure by leaving a rather unsettling deposit all over the railing and deck :(

All images colored with copics, the fish bowl is actually a stamp that I have had forever. I knew as soon as I saw these stamps it would work perfectly! I only wish I could draw, guess that is why I love stamps so much!
Bearded dragons (Pogona vitticeps) are among the easiest and best lizards to have as shown here with Liam. Bearded dragons are native to Australia.

Wage and Babo spent the entire afternoon trying to make conversation with the flower. It was sort of a one sided conversation...
A friendly pony we say hello to on our morning walks.......gave the walking a miss this morning......a visit by car was made instead. Max temp today was 2 degrees.
