This cat was super friendly until a man came by on a bicycle and it ran to the safety of its home on the barge ...
This past weekend i've been in Spain at Benicassim Festival.
Really cool place, between Barcelona and Valencia in a seaside town.
Lots of top international names as well as lots of great english bands playing. 2nd night the site was hit by high winds forcing the festival to shut down. Highlights for me were 2ManyDJ's, Elbow and Friendly Fires.

The recent opening of Shake Shack and honeygrow has created sort of a restaurant row here with Friendly's, which opened here in May, 1983.
Once again friends rallied round!!! A big thanks to Milan, Matt, Slobodan, & Nik who pitched in to help us lift the huge steel tank into the building.
My ruling faculty kept me from such foolhardiness, but this Bear seemed so content, and so friendly, that I really felt I would've been welcomed right into his little wild flower garden.
For years I've felt that Bears have essentially the same emotional intelligence as big dogs, and I don't think it's too great a stretch to imagine that they may occasionally feel like reaching out to us.
It infuriates me to consider how many humans want to murder these gentle creatures for nothing more than some sort of perverted macho ego aggrandizement, or, a rug. This sad reality makes any friendliness on the part of some of us, ... a great danger to the Bear tribe. Though they oft seem so inclined, the last thing any beautiful Bear should do is to trust the human race ....

From left to right: The largest glass has a small spout to pour easily, it is the pitcher. The next glass has a sort of flat bottom, it's the high ball glass. I have two in total. The third in line has perplexed some. I have a total of 8 of these. It has a more rounded bottom, which you can't see very well from the photo. You may be able to see it gets more narrow as it goes to the bottom. I suppose it's more of a table glass. The last is a shot glass. I have two of them.

One day we're gonna live in Paris
I promise
I'm on it
When I'm bringing in the money
I promise
I'm on it
I'm gonna take you out to club showcase
We're gonna live it up
I promise
Just hold on a little more
And every night we'll watch the stars
They'll be out for us
They'll be out for us
And every night, the city lights
They'll be out for us
They'll be out for us
One day we're gonna live in Paris
I promise
I'm on it
I'll find you that French boy,
You'll find me that French girl
I promise
I'm on it
So go and pack your bags
For the long haul
We're gonna lose ourselves
I promise
This time it's you and me for evermore
And every night we'll watch the stars
They'll be out for us
They'll be out for us
And every night, the city lights
They'll be out for us
They'll be out for us
And every night we'll watch the stars
They'll be out for us
They'll be out for us
And every night, the city lights
They'll be out for us
They'll be out for us

So I found out the other day that a Great Horned Owl lives in my neighbourhood park, an elderly gentleman pointed it out to me but as I did not have my telephoto lens on me I couldn't take a picture. Today, I decided to visit this feathery friend with my Takumar 200mm lens, here is the result. :) I think, I will be visiting him again with a teleconvertor and a tripod :D

Delegation from City of Groningen thrilled to see the new bicycle-friendly cobblestones in Copenhagen
We found all sorts of critters during this recent trip to Borrego. But the kids were especially happy with all the friendly frogs we came in contact with. I really like how this photo turned out.

Jim and I went for a wallk with Barney and Poppy yesterday we came across this frog. Maybe I should have kissed him to see if he would turn into a prince!
Wednesday's version of the Coastal Classic winds through a curve along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet at Bird Creek between Anchorage and Alyeska. A friendly wave from the conductor humanizes an area that houses very few humans!
Someone asked if he is friendly so the next time I saw him I called him over. He wouldn't quite let me touch him but he rolled over and over on the ground.
Diving into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean you can find many exceptional creatures.
While this specimen really looks frightening from afar a change in perspective offers a quite different view: A friendly ghost of the seas seems to pass gently by.

Out of all the VinPearl hostesses, I think I took more of this particular hostess's picture than all of her counterparts. Perhaps it is merely coincidental, but one thing I know for sure is that she is extremely friendly. She always greeted me with a warm smile and always more than ready to pose for my photographs.
I have invented an new concept of warfare. It is the greatest revolution in strategic thinking since Carl von Clausewitz. Entirely based on friendly fire. This way we can war, casualties, heroes, marches, parades, everything without ever having to bother the enemy. The troops can stay on their own turf where they know the conditions. They can even go off duty at five o'clock and go home to their wife for dinner. Concerning the war against terror I think it would be appropriate to test the theory out on that. The very basis that all terrorism springs from will be eliminated. I will even go so far as to say that this new concept can do what the war on terrorism hasn't achieved and actually prevent terrorism...
