Doing some garden stones to give to my brothers.lots of colours in this one. Will grout in ???? l'm not sure.
Walking around we passed by this rather friendly bird standing on a car. It stood there without moving for a long time, enough for me to take many pictures and get this nice composite. - Amsterdam, The Netherlands
I usually shoot folks from a comfortable distance in a candid fashion but this fellow requested a pic. Just a one off so I did not get another choice to get everyone's eyes open.

In general, the small birds seem to be finding enough food at the moment not to bother with ours. However, this guy is always a faithful visitor each morning and he calls until we feed him.
A line-up of beautifully painted Alaska Airlines aircraft at Seattle's SeaTac airport. The tails of the aircraft are adorned with the popular alaskan face as part of its colour scheme.

Photographed this friendly crab during my walk on Werri Beach. Often they scuttle away before I can take a shot, but maybe this one just wanted the sun so badly (on account of it being winter) that it took a chance with the paparazzi!

Many ideas are lurking in my mind for a few days, just that I'm not able to put them in action.
This is one example of one of the ideas. I requested by good friend Tapojoyti, to help . He was happy to bring his kids as a subject. It was a wonderful evening to work with kids for an outdoor photoshoot. My younger son Subhon, was of great help, keeping the artists in mood .

By coincidence, flamboyant trees (Delonix regia) flower in the Cerrado savanna region of Brazil just as rains douse brush fires.
These Hasidic teenagers asked me to take their picture. When I asked how I would get it to them, the one on the right told me to send it via mail. I asked him for his e-mail address, and he said, "No, the mail." I told him it was a digital picture and all, and anyway it would be easier via e-mail. He replied, "Jewish people don't have those things".
A drooling teenage thug with cornrows passed and one of the kids on the left provoked him (!). Then the thug got gully and the kid backed down.
two native ponies are grazing the high meadows at New Lanark to help the wildflowers in the spring - friendly pair too - I almost went home with two extra horses! :-D
An eco friendly stall was put up at the Utsav Exhibition recently held in Pune.

A little friendly Downy Woodpecker, seen down in Fish Creek Park a few days ago. The nasal tufts of the Downy are conspicuous, being composed of an abundance of whitish to tanish-white "hairs." The Downy is our smallest Woodpecker and also the most abundant.
