Akai controller for serving loopable and other audio content in Ableton Live. Also super convenient for serving looping video, animation and live feeds out of ArKaos (cool Belgian VJ software that you can buy with fun Euros). Map a video clip to a button. Map a visual effect to the same button. Push the button = Video clip + Effect. Send to your favorite oversized display/projector. Very cool.
As we traveled in our bus, the kids would stop what they were doing to wave at us. Actually, anyone who we waved to, would do the same. India is full of friendly people!

Little Deer (who still needs a name, haha) is a Sugarble head on an Iplehouse KID body.
On a recent trip to Finland I found myself in the centre of Helsinki with underthesun. I then encountered the most bizarre parade I have ever seen. This was the day that every graduating high school student in the region hires, begs, borrows or steals a dump truck to stand in with all their mates and drive round the streets in a really long procession, throwing sweets to the onlooking strangers. This one fell close to me then stayed in my pocket for a few days, until I went for a walk in the snow with sohvimus. This one, so I'm told, is Polish (they're cheaper!) She very graciously modelled this sweet for me so I could then open and eat it. Whilst the last remnants were still being munched sohvimus had a horrible slip and broke her elbow. She's in a cast and making a recovery now. Every picture tells a story. :)
The Decatur, IL local with a friendly Norfolk Southern train crew heads back into their yard with light power, and approaches the CN diamond. Seeing two SD-60's (unrebuilt) is getting rarer to do, but the Decatur local has them...for now.
End of the first week of the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe 2017. Last images from the first week of the Fringe and it's still going very strong. Lovely faces, great performers and interesting people all round.

This is the second time I've seen this big baby on the roof of the house behind ours. Checking out the feeder birds. I think these guys are supposed to prefer mammals like mice and voles and chipmunks. But when they're desperate, it seems, they go for birds (at the feeder). This guy must have gone for a pigeon in our yard since as soon as we spotted him scoping out the yard we noticed a giant dead pigeon near a puff of pulled off feathers. Why did he leave the pigeon? My guess is it was too heavy for him to leave with. It was a really big pigeon (of course, he's been eating at our house!). Can they take a big pigeon?
The RSHs are in this area year round. There is green space where we see them hunt, especially in the winter. I hear them more than see them in the spring and summer.
We normally see Cooper's Hawks at our house. They prey on the feeder birds. We see them on the fence, the nearby trees, the neighbors fences and trees and in the air. One adult has gotten so bold that he does not care if I watch him. In fact, the other day he jumped into the hanging platform feeder I have trying to get a better look at what little birds might be hiding in the scrub that is close to the ground. Stinker! He even jumped from there to the ground. Last week we had a juvie Cooper's Hawk stop on the fence but he didn't like us watching him and took off pretty quick.
A new look Longridge won their 2nd preseason match with a dominant display that allowed them to make numerous changes to the team at half time. The ridge next face Wren Rovers on Saturday away.

Found at an antique store in Portland, Oregon. I purposely did not straighten or color-correct this scan, as that would have ruined its vintage charm.
