Transporter plane Hercules 8T-CA of Austrian Air Force at Innsbruck airport (INN) in occasion of the Austrian Independence Day, which we celebrate on October 26.
The weather was not very photographer friendly... :)
Friendly Beaches is definitely one of the top beaches, though perhaps on a calmer day. While the camping grounds were well sheltered and wallabies lived up to the Friendly name, the wind made it a bit brisk to stick around.

Headed up to Mt. Washington's Paradise Meadows to get a jay fix. The Steller's were actually more plenteous than the Gray Jays for once.
More shots from my visit to my friend Mrs Warren's farm. Here is one of two farm dogs. This is the older one, who is reallty friendly (the younger one isn't to be trusted). I was taking shots of the pigs from a kneeling position when this dog snuggled up alongside me for a fuss, making me jump!

I see this hawk often on this same branch in this same tree in my neighborhood.
