I had to post it, since he looks so cute in it! My Sis took the picture, at Christmas in the Park in Richfield, PA. Isaac has a dragon hat, but I haven't seen it yet.
The hats are made by an ecologically concerned and friendly citizen living in Virginia, Ryan Williamson. His venture is called The Mouse Works. He uses scrap fleece that would otherwise be thrown away by corporations for his creations. He loves to hike and be outdoors, even sleeps outdoors a great deal. His accumulated garbage for a year fits into one bag. And his hats are wonderful and whimsical, for adults and kids!

So proud of my sister and her family who make conscious efforts in their daily lives to be a bit more "green" by eliminating products that contain toxins from their household, and turning down the heat a bit / insulating windows in the winter and buying products like this, which supports small businesses that are in-step with sustainable practices, like recycling and working off-the-grid.
And they are so fun too. Who knew?!

Jason was really a fun guy. Very astute in spite of some chemical haze--him, not me. I appreciated the invite to "hang together", but I sensed I would be getting more than a beer if we "partied" as he suggested. We had a discussion of a Bob Dylan mural which will appear at some point in my photostream. He told me that the cross brought him good luck. I suppose there's some theological notion in there someplace. He was pretty stream of consciousness, so our discussion took twists and turns. I had no trouble following him, which upon reflection, causes me to be concerned.
