I was on the same platform tonight but this time it is earlier and I have cropped right down into the image. To me it is a different view, to you I hope it is a nice view.

Didn't have my tripod on me but it's not bad for a handheld night shot. 😉

A Northern Rail Leeds - Carlisle evening service catches the last of the sun as it passes over Ribblehead Viaduct, North Yorkshire, England.

The 24 arches of this spectacular viaduct make a dramatic statement across this remote wild spot which up to a 100 Navvies died during it's 4 year construction in 1874.

I like standing on the platform at Snow Hill Station watching the cars go home.

This is my take on the XP Bliss background. This is a field I pass (almost - depending on the route I take) daily to work. It looked stunning a few weeks back at sunrise, so I waited until the right conditions before actually taking today.

Modified in Paintshop Pro 7, since there were some rather obtrusive power lines right across the middle of the field.

It was a dull day and many of my pictures looked dull and boring. This was taken going home from Platform 1 of Moor St station. You can see the dull sky in the centre against the relatively warm lights of the station.

The sleek, curving corridor of the London Underground’s Jubilee Line at London Bridge Station captures both the elegance and efficiency of Britain’s famed transit system. This photograph highlights the station’s futuristic tunnel design, where steel ribs and gradient blue paneling arch overhead like a spaceship interior. The perspective leads the viewer’s eye forward, toward the distant glow of the next connection and the promise of movement beneath the city’s surface.

London Bridge Station is one of the oldest and busiest transport hubs in London, serving not only the Jubilee Line, but also the Northern Line and multiple National Rail services. Opened in 1836 and rebuilt several times since, the station has evolved into a modernized gateway connecting southeast London to the city’s heart. The Jubilee Line itself is one of the youngest in the Tube system, known for its accessibility, modern design, and architectural drama.

In this image, the symmetry and lighting create an almost cinematic feel. Harsh fluorescent tubes run cleanly along the ceiling, casting their glow onto alternating metal grates and signage. The green emergency exit sign and blue directional placard mark the utilitarian function of the tunnel, while also adding subtle visual punctuation to an otherwise tightly disciplined space. The walls are marked with “London Bridge” repeating across the curved panels—a visual rhythm that reinforces the location and adds texture to the shot.

The absence of people in this photo lends a sense of quiet anticipation. It’s a rare moment of stillness in one of the world’s busiest metro systems. The tunnel becomes a character itself—calm, sturdy, waiting. For photographers, this type of image represents a celebration of urban minimalism: clean lines, practical beauty, and infrastructure that hums with human purpose, even when humans are temporarily absent.

The Jubilee Line is also one of the most accessible lines on the Underground, and London Bridge Station underwent significant renovations to improve step-free access, clear signage, and better wayfinding. These improvements reflect the broader push across the Transport for London (TfL) system toward more inclusive, modern infrastructure.

For travelers, this image evokes memories of navigating the Tube—watching the blinking signs, rushing through corridors like this to make a connection, or standing still to admire how impressively the system is built. For locals, it may feel like a moment of calm in the daily commute. For architecture and design fans, it’s a testament to form following function, where even public transportation tunnels can possess a quiet, industrial beauty.

A dull start to my familiar daily commute. The mornings are drawing in and the lights are on in the Cathedral.

A Northern rail 158 climbs away from Garsdale with the 10.21am Leeds - Carlisle service. The railway straddles the border between Yorkshire & Cumbria. Yorkshire lies this side & Cumbria lies just beyond the bridge!

Ostkreuz is a major interchange station on Berlin's S-Bahn network, linking the Stadtbahn lines with the Ringbahn's eastern section. Literally meaning Eastcross, this is Berlin's busiest S-Bahn station. It was notable as it's design has not really changed from the 1930's. This 2010 view here is of the upper triangular platforms. The lines that went north (Platform edge, right) and south (behind the station building (left to right) were abandoned in 2008. This part of the station was recently demolished and replaced thus losing some more historic Berlin as progress marches on.

Push the sliders as far at they can and the sky takes a different look. An early morning shot of Birmingham.

Morning traffic, the hum of engines, and the sun breaking through the mist. The road stretches ahead, divided between the rush to get somewhere and the stillness of a moment worth capturing. A sunrise not just seen, but felt.

Okay, so I guess the composition doesn't bug that much, it's more so that this photo feels really plain and boring to me. It's just lacking that 'something special' in my opinion. But that's okay I guess.

This goes out to those spontaneous moments that you don't know what to make of. Those nights where you really just don't know what to do. When there's so many different things to process, you can hardly keep up with your own head because everything is moving so fast. Which is basically every other night for me, but hey, not the point.

Also, Kristi here has a modeling page on fb. You should go like it cuz she's awesome.
