The sun streaming into Moor St is a highlight of April mornings. A nice vintage filter adds a timeless feel to the picture
hannover central station, a nexus where countless stories intersect. through a kaleidoscope of reflections, life unfolds in layers. a moment, fleeting yet full, as strangers share a platform, each absorbed in their own world. the cold bite of the morning air contrasts with the warmth that lingers behind the glass. colors blur, a vivid streak across the canvas of daily commute. here, a figure stands out, cloaked in contemplation, their gaze fixed on a destination unseen. another, a silhouette against the morning rush, finds solace in the sanctuary of her thoughts. this image, a snapshot of transient solitude amidst the communal rhythm of travel, captures the quiet intimacy of public spaces, where every passerby is a story, every reflection a window into another life.
The days are becoming shorter but sunrise now coincides with my arrival in Birmingham. This is the view from above of Moor Street Train Station.

in the slender shadows of madrid's cuatro torres, life casts its own silhouette against the canvas of modernity. a solitary figure, adorned in the casual garb of city living, strides through the confluence of light and dark. she is immersed in her own soundscape, a private concert hall moving through the geometric stillness of the shopping mall's architecture. her drink, a vibrant concoction, contrasts with the monochrome palette of urban design. she's a transient brushstroke on the city's ever-changing mural, each step a color, each breath a note, amidst the pillars of progress that are the cuatro torres, reaching skyward like stanzas of an urban symphony.

When you are standing on the station platform waiting for the train home, then it is always fun watching what the rest of the world is doing :)
The Horta Gallery, one of the entrances to the Brussels central station, was renovated and reopened last week after having been closed for 20 years.
The castle sits on a hill adjoining our other property & it was so beautiful with a gorgeous ceiling & a ton of wonderful features (even a dungeon for all you vampires)..that we just couldn't imagine it being gone, so we bought it! BUT we aren't going to be living there, so if you know anyone who is looking for a place to rent, let me know! There are soooo many rooms, we could rent it to 10 people & they'd never see each other!! ;-)

A 3-exposure-HDR taken from an abandoned flat at Jalan Pekeliling. There were 5 of us during the photoshoot. The place was dark and scary. I swear I won't go there alone. Thanks to my friends vedd , marjan, acidsulfurik, and Nervz for the company.
Thank you all my friends for viewing, commenting and making this your faves. I certainly appreciate all your feedback and please accept my apology if I'm not able to visit or leave my comments on your photos. My time is really limited these days.

Have a great and wonderful week my friends !
I have seen many photographs of this bench at Moor Street Station. I thought it best to add one on the way home on a particularly damp June evening.
Driving to the college every morning, I am always stunned by the river at this point- across from Wal-Mart.
I don't know how this picture turned out the way it did, but I love it!
One of the sweet things about my new XA is the ability to stop down the aperture to f/22, perfect for stuff like this...
